"The contract session was with Stephan Boyer. He was very through and informative. We knew exactly what we were getting and what to expect. Chris Renda and his crew showed up as promised. They showed up with all materials and immediately started work. The crew took no breaks and barely took time for lunch.. Chris Renda kept us infomed of everything going on.He found that our dormers had not been wrapped or waterproofed so he removed all the siding and began wrapping and waterproofing the dormers for us! The crew took 5 days of hard nonstop work installing our beautiful new patina green metal roof. We are completely satisfied! !

They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. "The CHW Tech was unable to connect the air condition to the Nest thermostat because it was not registering but he was able to provide us with cool air until the previous HVAC company was able to come and fix the system the next day. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
