We are a reputable professional organizing and staging consulting company. We work especially well with busy entrepreneurs, people who work from home, moms with full time jobs that would like to have sustainable organization systems in place in their home. We also work well with organizing office spaces, pantries, closets, decor closets; the areas most people prefer to shut the door behind. Our methods include decluttering and space planning for the items home owners choose to keep. \nWe also have experience working with home owners in preparation for selling their home, providing staging consulting and light-staging installation. We have a creative knack for reinventing or rearranging items to freshen a space, with a few creative touches your home could be photo ready in no time. Thank you for your interest. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

It is generally better to stage a house than to leave it empty, as it can help the home sell faster and for a higher price. Staging helps potential buyers envision themselves living in the property. According to the National Association of Realtors, more than 75% of buyer’s agents report that staging makes it easier for buyers to build a connection with the home. Furthermore, a 2018 survey of over 4,200 professionally staged homes revealed that most sold for 6% to 25% more than their unstaged counterparts. Using a professional staging service can improve a buyer’s opinion of your house and may lead to higher offers.

Professional home staging services can vary between companies and properties, but the primary goal is to set up a house with aesthetic furniture and decor to entice potential buyers. Many stagers offer customizable packages, and you can often pay for additional services. Common offerings include:

  • Design and Planning: Color design, planning each room's layout, and professional interior design services.

  • Furniture and Decor: Choosing and renting furniture, decor, and artwork. This also includes the setup and takedown of all rented materials.

  • Arrangement and Organization: Rearranging existing furniture, decluttering, and organizing the space.

  • Ambiance: Creating a welcoming atmosphere with strategic lighting and accessories.

  • Repairs and Maintenance: Minor repairs, home maintenance, and addressing visible issues.

  • Curb Appeal: Improving the home's exterior with services like painting and garden bed management.

It's best to connect with a professional home stager to see what’s included in their specific packages or to request a custom service.

Yes, staging a home really works and can help your home sell faster, potentially for a higher price than if you did not use a home staging service. According to the National Association of Realtors, 48% of seller’s agents reported home staging decreased a home’s time on the market.

Plus, 20% of buyer’s and seller’s agents claimed home staging increased home sale prices by 1% to 5%. Although decluttering and cleaning help a home sell, staging can take your home’s curb appeal to the next level, helping to expedite the process and increase your profit.

The main factors to consider when staging your home when selling are your budget, number of rooms to stage, and how long to keep the staged setup. Since home staging costs about $600 per room when using professional services, you may want to only stage the rooms that are most important to potential buyers, including the kitchen, living room, and primary bedroom. You should also consider which repairs or updates are necessary before staging your home, such as painting interior walls, carpet cleaning, and refinishing hardwood floors.

Staging helps homes sell faster and often at higher prices by creating an inviting, well-designed space.
