Honeybee swarm and hive removal. Swarm removal is FREE, we give free estimates on hive removal a.k.a. "cutouts". Cutouts average around $400 depending on the structure and location. We begin work immediately upon signing of agreed contract to perform the cutout and a down-payment of 10% of the contract is tendered. Payment is due in-full upon completion of work. We do not do restoration work but will do our best to minimize removal of structural elements to access the hive and clean the area thoroughly to remove any scent and stop up the entrance so that other bees do not attempt to take up residence in the future. Help save the bees, do not call an exterminator to spray them as this will only damage the structure and not prevent other bees from making a hive in the same location. We give the bees a new home while giving your home back to you. Protect our pollinators to help protect the future of our environment.

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.

  • Droppings: Rats and mice leave small, rice-shaped droppings (the rat’s version is significantly larger). Bigger droppings belong to larger critters like raccoons. As long as you’re not squeamish, an image search can help you identify what you’re seeing in your attic.

When in doubt, take photos of damage or other evidence and show them to an experienced pest control pro.

They can have a deterrent effect on birds to some extent. The reflective surfaces of these objects, such as aluminum foil strips, CDs, or reflective tape, create flashes of light and movement that can startle or confuse birds temporarily. However, some birds can become accustomed to these visual disturbances over time and might adapt their behavior accordingly. For a more sustained solution, combining shiny objects with other deterrent methods shared here is often beneficial for creating a more comprehensive and effective strategy for bird control.

Small amounts of geese are actually good for the environment. They help spread seeds and lead to more plant growth, but they’re often an invasive species, particularly Canadian geese. This means a small gaggle can quickly grow into a level that litters your lawn with bald patches and excrement.

Maintain sealed entry points, use deterrents like spikes or sonic devices, and keep areas clean to discourage nesting.

Numerous predators kill hornets, including frogs, birds, lizards, bats, spiders, and hedgehogs. Some larger predators, including rats, skunks, and racoons, will occasionally attack a hornet nest in order to eat the larvae inside. These natural predators typically don’t eat enough hornets to make them an effective form of hornet control.
