  • Alliance Roofing and Contracting
I now have the best roof I have ever seen. Very personable and courteous. Explained everything and found things that fit within our budget. Our ins never paid for the full extend of the damages, so them working with us and finding things within our budget helped! Also, they used their personal time to meet with us. I would hire again and again

  • Alliance Roofing and Contracting
My home was damaged December 11th by the Tornadoes that struck Kentucky. And I would go through that tornado again if it ment not hiring Alliance and Joseph Cox again. Joseph and Alliance has only made the situation worse by literally being a pathological liar. Yes I said Pathological Liar. Not a single timeline date or event he set up happened on time during the last 7 month. Not one. Example: roof will take 2 days. 7 weeks later still working on that 2 days. Still missing gutters and downspouts. Also paid them to move my family out and in of the house, clean house after repairs, pick up and haul away waste around d house. My wife and I did all of this and much more. If not for our work we wouldn't have met the date we were required to move out of our temporary rental. Basically Alliance was OK with us being homeless. Still to this day we are missing 2 porch lights, 1 gutter, 2 downspouts, they broke a window, chipped bathroom sink, cracked tile floors, threw away materials ask to keep more than once, refuse to answer phone calls and text for days and weeks. His employees have been caught drinking on the job, and passed out in my yard. This company is undeserving of a business license or your families money. They will take advantage of you and your family time because they do not care. Once he gets your money he will dissappear and use your money to fund the jobs he thinks are better for his image. Rather than just finishing the job he has already been paid for. His employees have told us he refused to send them to my house because he felt other jobs benefited him more. So if you want to be lied to constantly. To have your living situation in peril. To have to move into an unfinished house with a long list of issues. And could care less about your money, family or home. Then this is the company for you. If anyone wants pictures or text history between myself and Joseph Cox to prove my claims just ask. I do not make claims I do not have irrefutable proof of. Hire at your own risk. You have been warned. ~Signed A U.S. Army Veteran and his famil

  • Distinctive Design Remodeling
It went really well. Our project manager Ian Baker did a great job of coordinating everyone and communicating with us. We knew who was going to be there when and what to expect as each day progressed. The contractors they choose were a pleasure to work withand did a great job. We needed some extra work to try to tie somethings together and was able to hire some of there contractors outside the job to handle these matters. I'm definetly considering hiring them again for some basement remodeling in the future

The gentleman was very professional and very pleasant to talk to. He even called when he was going to be 10 minutes late. All work was done on time and we were very satisfied with the results. His final price was below the original estimate. We will definitely call on him again.

  • Profinish Remodeling
Our home had hail damage from the March storm that hit our area. David Sugg, the owner of Pro Finish, was soon starting on a house at 712 Bartlett Ave (2 doors down). He stopped by to ask if we had filed an insurance claim for our damage. At that time we were unaware of any roof damage but did have hail damage on the front siding. David informed me that I did have damage and without his suggestion I probably would not have called. From the beginning I relied on David to help me with the adjustors and he did in every way possible. David was always just a phone call away if we had any questions throughout the process. The roofers started around the first of July and did an amazing job. They are a very hard working crew that gets the job done fast with high quality work. The amazing duo of Scott & Barry came soon after and started all of the home repairs. Those 2 men are one of the reasons why we wanted Pro Finish to do our home repairs. We had seen their work on the neighbors house and were so impressed. They installed our windows, gutters ,doors, facia, replaced siding, and window shutters. They completely transformed our home. It once was a light blue cape cod with midnight blue window shutters (often referred to a smurf house) and is now a modern home with clay vinyl siding and black shutters. They difference is amazing!! It really looks like a different home. We would like to replace our front porch next year and will be using Pro Finish for that repair also. It has been 3 months and we still hear so many compliments about the looks of our home. I really can not thank pro Finish enough for the transformation of our home and am still amazed at how wonderful it looks. I definitely encourage anyone looking for high quality work to use Pro Finish for your home remodeling

Consider these suggestions when looking for a siding company

Getting an experienced company is vital for homeowners who want siding installed. A good contractor can help ensure you see satisfactory results from your siding project. Prior to signing on the dotted line with a neighborhood siding professional, be sure to factor in the things below.

  • Look at samples of completed work, and ask for proof that the neighborhood siding company has completed a job similar to your assignment previously. Seek a portfolio of work or view any image gallery on the business’s webpage.
  • Seek references. Ask future contractors if they can provide testimonials from former customers. This helps you understand how happy others were with the contractor’s service.
  • Review all the fine print. Everything you agree to with the business should be in writing before you sign up. If a contractor seems reluctant to add details in print, that can be a red flag that you should select a different business.

What does it cost to side a house?

You can expect to fork over anywhere from $2,900 to $44,000 for a house siding project. That’s a huge range because so many considerations go into settling on the price of any home siding work.

Square footage plays a large role when it comes to the expense of installing siding onto a property. The bigger your home’s outside surface area—or the bigger the surface area of the part to have siding installed—the more time and materials the job needs, which causes the cost to go up.

Also, the kind of siding material determines overall cost. Basic siding made of vinyl is the most cost-effective and averages $2 to $3 per square foot. Siding made from aluminum prices are close, averaging $3 to $4 per square foot.

Stone and brick veneer are some of the priciest materials. For the latter, you’ll pay, on average, $3 to $10 per square foot, and the former costs $8 to $11 per square foot.

Additional work necessary to put up siding influences the cost of your job, too. If the siding business has to repair or replace decaying boards or other infrastructure first, the costs tend to go up.

A great way to figure out how much your project might cost is to ask for estimates from contractors in your area.
