First let me say I have already written a negative review on Angie's List against one of Louisville's major plumbing contractors that I had called out for this job. I am not a novice at home repairs and did not have time to repair this myself. The other company quote was so out of bounds I called Shane Gibson based on his outstanding reviews.
What a friendly competent individual. he went to work and was finished installing a new coupling assembly, carefully opening the wall so it could be easily repaired. He was done in about an hour. He charged 20% of what the large named company quoted me. You know, honesty is a lost attribute and it was nice to find a person that practices what his ads say. From my experience I had estimated the proper amount for the repair myself. Even without discussing the price Shane came in exactly what I had estimated was a fair price for the repair.(Honesty again!!!!!)
I took all my previous phone numbers for plumbers and took them off my phone and threw away my refrigerator magnets that I had received from other plumbers.. Shane Gibson is the only person I would call. I also found that a nearby large neighborhood hardware store recommends him as well. I asked Shane for 25 of his cards and will have handed them out to friends and associates by tomorrow.
