Jerry A Bryant & Sons Plumbing

We recently moved into a new (to us) home and had a draining issue. Called Jerry late on a Sunday, explained the situation and he relayed what he thought might be the issue. Set up a time for him to come out on Monday. Jerry gave me a call when he was on his way, came out, assessed the situation, gave me very fair and reasonable quote, and got started right away. Jerry and his crew were fast, courteous, and kept us informed every step of the way. Being in a new neighborhood it was nice finding the right people for the job right away, Jerry and his team will be our first call for any plumbing issues from now on.

Ten years ago we were referred to Jerry Bryant to replace our water heater. He was able to schedule a replacement before the water heater quit completely. At that time his pricing was reasonable and the install and service was excellent. Yesterday the 6 yr. water heater he installed in 2014 finally decided it was finished. We called Jerry Bryant and he was able to replace the unit today. He selected a replacement for us and stayed with his crew while the work was being done, and he explained everything we needed to know about setting the temp, etc. All debris was removed and the area swept up. Could not ask for more. His pricing is less than the competition, and I feel the work was beyond the competitors. He is honest and dependable. We keep his number in our contacts list.

It went great! Jerry responded to a late night phone call I made in a panic about water leaking from my water heater. He came over after 10:30PM to help me shut off my water at my very old shut off valve and drain the tank. I was expecting a hefty service fee, but it was very reasonable. After pricing different companies, I ended up going back to Jerry the next day for a replacement water heater and shut off valve. The price I was quoted was more than fair; it was very generous. He and his staff were punctual, completed the job in a timely manner, and cleaned up after install. If you’re looking for an high quality experienced plumber who tell you like it is and not try to sell you things you don’t need, definitely give him a call. You won’t regret it.

I purchased a water heater from Mr. Bryant installed and not only was the price less than expected, but he was polite, professional, and called on the way to assure it was okay for him to be early. I have called for one other service call since, and it was super affordable and he was done in a flash. I would definitely recommend.

Mr. Bryant charged more than was originally estimated. I felt like I was overcharged. The quality of workmanship was average. The faucet that he repaired has begun leaking after 16 months.

Jerry and one of his sons arrived promptly. They were efficient, polite, and went directly to the water heater, where they diagnosed the problem and installed the pressure release valve, which they had with them. Then they addressed the toilet, which was an unusual brand and which we have had difficulty getting serviced before. Jerry diagnosed the problem and replaced the flush mechanism with one he had on the truck. They were in and out in less than one hour, including cleanup. We were very impressed and would not hesitate to call on Jerry Bryant again.

Jerry was gruff, but friendly, on the phone and agreed to come out and look at my situation (water had leaked on basement floor out of my gas water heater). The current gas heater was, apparently, a very expensive unit that would have to be special ordered. He said we could put in a less expensive eletric water heater, but we would need an electrician to run the lines. He suggested somebody who was able to come out and run the lines and the new electric water heater was installed. Jerry wanted to leave the old water heater in the basement, and seemed very put out when I asked for it to be brought upstairs so there wasn't a risk of more water leaking and for easier disposal. Then came the FUN part, the payment....Jerry had told us how much the job would be prior to starting then wrote out the invoice for quite a bit more. When questioned, he got very indignant and challenging. He ended up taking the originally agreed upon amount, but we were all shocked at his attitude. This is the same guy who will come into your home as a plumber and preach about religion. I think the work done was satisfactory, but I would not use this company again, because of him as an individual.

Took all day to do the job. Very slow. No bathroom for hours.

Everything went great.

Price was the same or less than others who could not get to the job until the next Monday. The workmen were friendly and professional. The work was completed within 3 hours of making the initial call.
