"I wouldn’t advise my worst enemy to work with this company. We signed a contract with TnT Roofing and Restoration to redo our roof on July 30 and it has not been done as of 10/7. We cut them a check of $7k for a down payment and they cashed it within an hour of us meeting with them. We have been the ones following up with them on a weekly basis, trying to see when they will be replacing our roof and they continue to say; two weeks, next week, end of the month… here we are 10 weeks later and no roof and internal water damage to our home. They are now not returning or answering our calls/ text."

"Our neighborhood was hit by a devastating hailstorm in 2022. The vinyl siding on the north sides of everyone's house was pocked with holes and gashes, roofs catastrophically damaged, broken windows, battered cars, tree limbs everywhere. Certainly, we had all seen storm damage much worse than what found after our storm, but we all braced for the challenges ahead: clean up, repair and even rebuild. As we picked up the pieces around our yards, contracting companies descended on our neighborhood. Dealing with the insurance end of the equation was already becoming a marathon--but the looming questions, who should we choose to repair our home, who will do the job well became a worrisome preoccupation for us and all of our neighbors. Our former neighbor, Ben F, drove by one day, and seeing me in the yard cleaning up, he stopped by to check in with us. Ben listened empathetically. He told us he had started to work for Craftsmen and asked us if we wanted him to give us an estimate. Ben told that us he had been impressed with the team at Craftsmen, that he had found a workplace guided by principles of integrity. As he put together the estimate, Ben was thorough and thoughtful, answering our endless questions with considerable knowledge and good advice. We trusted Ben as a friend, and after looking at other companies, we decided to go with Craftsmen--not only on Ben's recommendation, but on other positive feedback we received from people who had worked with them through the years. Over the course of a year of work, there were some issues that arose, perhaps not surprisingly, but each time and overall, Craftsmen listened to our concerns and acted fully to resolve them. But what made the difference was the consistent assurances we got from Phillip P, one of the company's owners, that Craftsmen would correct any issue to our satisfaction--a promise that our patient contractor, John B, followed up on, as we likely drove him crazy with anxiety filled texts. Steven S at the office ensured that we were scheduled for our repairs and any follow ups that came after. Ben’s hard work, Phillip's word, John's follow-through and the teamwork at Craftsmen all mattered! This experience has taught us that in the process of home repair and restoration (and I imagine in renovation too), you cannot let the idea of the perfect get in the way of the good. And Craftsmen delivers the goods! We have finally, and thankfully, come to the end of repairing our home! We 100% recommend Craftsmen if you are looking for a solid, local company that operates on principles of integrity and that goes the extra mile to ‘make it right.’ Craftsmen, like other companies following the hail event, met a different sort of storm—a storm of people needing repairs. The unusual circumstance meant that Craftsmen had to learn how to navigate a disaster event along the way. But as they learned best practices in the aftermath of our storm, they stood by their work. Now, as we stroll through our neighborhood, we often note how lucky we were to have made the best choice! "They did exactly what I asked them to do. They have a filter they install which I thought would be the â Leaf Filterâ as seen on the TV ADS. It is a filter but not â Leaf Filter.â You would need to ask specifically for Leaf Filter as advertised on TV if that is what you want. Gutterup was the best price. Quotes ranged from $650.00 to $5800.00 for a 55 ft section of gutter replacement. I didnâ t need or want Leaf Gard system (high quote). Wasnâ t looking for a Rolls Royce. Gutterup was just right."

"BUYER BEWARE! You will have to PM your own project. Ask for a change order for everything you request. If I could go back in time I would have paid more for the piece of mind. A 6 month remodel took exactly 1 year to complete. Punchlist items took 7 months to complete. Magno broke his own contract by not getting a building permit for the remodel. He filed the plans but never paid the $ to get them until I demanded the permit. I received one at the end of the punchlist so 1 year later. I had to spend time calling City of Lex. He has $ issues with vendors. We witnessed 2 vendors pulling out during our remodel for non payment. If I could go back in time I would not have tried to choose a minority run business and just stuck with the best price and reviews. He had no reviews when I started looking for a contractor. His attention to detail is non existence. See pics for reference. The pic of the smoke detector. His was too lazy to remove the one w/electrical so he just placed the other one beside it. He admits he has no attention to detail. I have had the grout lines fixed in bathroom pics from another contractor. Pay more with someone else. It will be worth it."
