  Initial quote was very competitive. Estimate to start work ~ 1 month later. There was a delay, but it was due to Lowe's having a backorder on the moisture shield composite deck railings that matched our decking. That was the only hiccup with the whole process and was not in Abell's control. They kept us informed throughout the process. The crew did a 1st class job on the deck construction. It was built on 12" centers to make sure that the composite decking does not bow. Additionally, they took extra care to make sure that the gaps were perfect and boards were straight (this is very difficult with the hidden fasteners). They installed skirting around the entire deck and it looks fantastic. Any issues that we pointed out, were quickly addressed. After construction was complete, I had a few screws that must have been bad. One of the skirt boards was loose. They came back our and fixed it without any problem. They stand behind their work and build it the way they would want it built for their house. I can tell you that the deck that I have is far more than the deck that I had them quote.   I have a long history with this company. While i was working for my previous employer, Tate Blumberg and coworkers/employees did an entire remodel of a whole house for us. They gutted the whole thing and remade it from the ground up - including structural work, plumbing, electrical, tiling, hardwood floors. They job was perfect and exactly what we asked for. Later, they built a huge wrap around deck on the 'master' house. Now that I own a home, we knew who we wanted to build our garage. Mr. Blumberg came to our house and allowed us to describe what kind of building we wanted. He came back with questions that narrowed down our ideas into a design. He has now visited us 3 times and we have a design and a very competitive quote. Mr. Blumberg is very adept at his profession. He is precise, honest and hardworking. He is one of very few builders who do not require that you have blueprints - he is very willing to work with your ideas to get you exactly what you want, and will present the pros and cons of your choices - for expense, aesthetics, functionality, etc. We have also had Mr. Blumberg build a white oak pergola on a rental house that we own, which was so exactly what we wanted that we are having him build one on our house, tooshow more

  V-Tech repaired water pipes, drywall, removed damaged living room carpet, then installed a beautiful wood finish floor. I had damage to my AC duct work under my house that they were able to repair also. All work was done in a timely matter. Mark Vaughn knows what he is doing!

  There was a pretty nasty hail storm that caused some serious exterior damage that dented some aluminum on my tool building. They came and replaced the siding, it took two days and the building is still holding up well today.

  There was a storm which was accompanied by pretty severe wind and lightning. Unfortunately one of my trees fell and collapsed most of my dining room, which was devastating. Ricky Wilson construction came out to give me an estimate on the repairs for free which was nice. My budget on the repairs was low obviously because it happened so unexpectedly but they were able to cut me a pretty good deal and seemed to be understanding. They brought out an entire team of builders the next day to start the repairs and they had my dining room back to normal in 2 weeksshow more
