"I called American Cleaning Service when my dishwasher broke while i was at work on a 12 hour shift. I came home to water every where in my kitchen and utility room. He was only 10 minutes from me and got here it seemed within minutes. He and his employee came in and quickly started the removal of the water without question. This company is very thorough as well as polite and professional. I would recommend this company anytime and will use them again if needed in the future as well.

Vinegar is great at lifting food-based stains from carpets and upholstery, but some people prefer to avoid using this strong-smelling cleaner out of fear that the scent will linger long after getting rid of the spot. If you're not afraid of the pungent smell, try mixing equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle in place of the DIY solution we suggested above. Then, use these tips to remove the smell of vinegar from your home.

You should lightly clean your leather couch biweekly by dusting off any surface dust or debris with a clean rag. Every month do a deeper clean with a vacuum to remove crumbs or dust from between cushions. You should only condition your couch about once a year to avoid any solution buildup.

Vinegar is acidic and makes a great cleaning agent for many items throughout the house, including some upholstery. It should not be used for any upholstery with the code S or X. It can be used for W labels. To use a vinegar solution, mix equal parts water and vinegar and blot the stain using a gentle circular motion with a clean microfibre cloth and then allow to dry completely. As with any DIY solution, test a small and inconspicuous section first.

Many household items neutralize the smell of urine, including fabric sprays and baking soda, a great odor absorber. Or try combining baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to cut through the smell. Hydrogen peroxide is usually better for getting rid of urine smells on hardwood than vinegar. Unlike vinegar, hydrogen peroxide is odorless. Also, hydrogen is a strong oxidizer that can break down bacterial odors, and it is less likely to remove the finish on hardwood flooring than vinegar. Never mix hydrogen peroxide and vinegar. This creates corrosive and toxic peracetic acid.
