"Terry and his team did a great job painting my family’s new home. His schedule was flexible and accommodated our quick timeline without compromising his quality of work. Perfect Edge Painting is an incredibly professional team that takes their work very seriously and works with customers’ needs to ensure a perfect finish. I highly recommend this company for those looking to have all projects, small or large, painted with quality work at a fair price."

"Jesus was very attentive to his work. He wanted to make sure the job was done correctly and looks good. He even went so far as to fix an area at the seam between ceiling and wall. We had a wall that had a bad drywall job and he asked if he could make it look better. They took care of it and even primed it so it is ready to paint. With all of the ceiling repair there was one area where the insulation was an old type that had been there for at least 30 years. It was a huge mess. They did great to get all of the loose deep on the floor insulation. When they finished each day they had everything clean and ready for us to continue our daily life without working around their equipment. When the job was finished, they took up the protective paper on the floor, then they mopped up all the floors and and had everything looking so nice. Very friendly, hard working and good to work with."

"I was very happy with the finished product. They installed new flooring throughout, repaired drywall from water damage, painted throughout entire house, installed ceramic backsplash tile. I was very satisfied with the finished product. I was on a tight timeline and Nick and his crew met my deadline and exceeded my expectations. I will continue to use him going forward."

Painting FAQs, answered by experts

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer. Whitewash is very durable and typically requires little maintenance, making it a great project for most DIYers.

To prevent a fence from becoming dirty, hose it down weekly and after every time you mow the lawn. This will prevent algae from being able to feed on grass clippings. You should also wash your fence once per season and trim plants so they don’t touch it. As a precautionary measure, you can treat your fence with a coating of a mold prevention product.

Choosing the best color for your home exterior should factor in longevity as well as your personal taste. To keep your house looking newly painted as long as possible, stay away from red paint. Although red homes pop and are quintessential for country-style barns, red paint tends to fade fastest in the sun. Go with earth tones if you want paint that best resists fading.

Applying a sealer or topcoat after staining wood is highly recommended, though not always strictly required. A sealer protects the wood from moisture, UV rays, and weather-related issues, which is especially important for outdoor surfaces like decks and fences. It also enhances the stain's durability, prevents fading over time, and gives the wood a cleaner, more professional-looking finish. For some indoor applications, a sealer may not be necessary, depending on the type of stain used and the level of protection needed. It's always best to check the stain manufacturer's recommendations and consider the wood's intended use and exposure when deciding whether to apply a sealer.

For the best results, you should apply two coats of paint to your wrought iron fence. Let your first coat dry for about an hour then promptly apply your second coat.
