I hired them to do leaf removal but I asked them to do a few other small jobs, like cutting down some bushes that were overgrown and they had no problem doing that. Additional late fees may accrue if not paid in full. $40.50" And be further aware that if you live in a nice house, Tim will use it to make personal attacks when you question any bill he sends---and most likely jack up the price. And his employee Joe is also a piece of work. When my wife asked for his cell number his response was "No, I don't want to be bothered by clients." And after paying several hundreds of dollars, our grass still has several dry spots. And they don't know how to set the irrigation timer accurately."

Whether you grind or dig up and remove your tree stump depends on your landscaping goals. Using a stump grinder leaves the root system in place for it to decompose over time, whereas digging up the tree stump removes the roots and the stump. Overall, stump grinding is a far simpler process since you won’t need to deal with the roots. Stump removal will make your yard look like a demolition site, but you’ll have an easier time replanting in the same place as your former tree.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

For a large tree, roots can take 5 to 10 years to completely decay after a stump dies. But that’s rarely a concern for above-ground plants and growth. You can choose to grind up a stump immediately after felling a tree (although it will be tougher wood), or you can wait several months up to a year for the stump to decay. Then, use gardening shears to clear out smaller roots or a reciprocating saw to remove larger plant roots. If you plan on keeping the plant, avoid cutting any roots over 2 inches thick.
