"We have been maintenance (once a year check on the A/C and once a year check on the furnace) customers for years spending about $200 a year for that service and have always been happy with the service. Our A/C appointment is normally in August however, knowing it is an older unit I called in May and asked if they would go ahead and come out. I was told there was no need and they would call to schedule in August. Well last night the unit went out. Don’t know if the service appointment would have prevented it or not. Called at 8 AM this morning (Wednesday) and was told they could come out Monday afternoon. I feel like 6 days was a little ridiculous even thought I understand it is hot out and I’m sure they are busy so she took my name and left a message for the service manager. I called back at 11:30 and left a second message. At 2 he finally called me back and while he was apologetic he also told me Monday or I could pay the emergency rate $98 for the first half hour and have them come out late Friday or early Saturday (still 3-4 days away). I am giving them a C because up until now we have been happy with their maintenance (and even recommended them to friend) but I question what is the point of being a maintenance member or “preferred” customer if you can’t get them to come out within a day or two when you need them. Will be looking at one of the other providers that value the loyal customers."

"They were great.  They were overwhelmed by the response to their Angie's list promotion and called the day they were scheduled to come to work out a chance to see what was needed so that they could come back and do the work.  They came back and did over and about what was required.
I know they were stressed because of all of the responses to the promotion.  They want to make all of their customers happy and were truly sorry that their schedule became unmanageable for a few days.   They did everything in their power to make it right. I will use them again.

"Todd was recommended by a friend of mine. I did not know him prior to. It took about 6-8 months to build due to the weather, but he built it in a timely manner. We love our house, very happy with it and have had no problems. He provides good customer service, he answered all my calls, if I had a concern he took care of it and I got a great deal at a great price. Now a year later, I know I cannot build this house for what I got it for. It is beautiful, it is definitely well above construction grade. He provided quality material, I have vaulted wood ceiling, I have real wood hardwood floors and the same type of wood on floor matches the ceiling. I know someone who built a home same time frame we did with a different contractor, same price but all different material. He got builders grade with linoleum Pergo floor, we got real wood flooring, he got siding and we got brick. We got exactly what we wanted out of it and for the right price. The wife and I are both very happy with the house and we would highly recommend him to others."

"Jonathan performed work in my house while working for another contractor with whom I have had irreconcilable problems, but HIS work was the only bright spot in that horrible experience (which I have taken up with the complaint department). The truth is that Jonathan's work is the ONLY work the has been even close to being acceptable and his work was EXCEPTIONAL. He built bookcases for DVDs in a wall in my den that is absolutely beautiful, he even suggested that I buy some wood panels that would add to the appearance and it ended up being a small, $30 expense that made the project look 100% better. Jonathan's work ethic and attention to detail is what sold me on him. "The initial bid was just a little over half of another contractor that was bidding on the work to be done. The final bill was a little over the initial bid, but the overage was caused by our picking out Designer appliances rather than the less expensive ones. The workers were very polite, friendly, and respectful of the house. Covers were laid out each day to protect furniture and floor coverings and then put away each evening before leaving. They even laid straw over the path across the lawn for their use to keep from tacking in mud and debris. And extra protections were taken when they knew that the work entailed the creation of dust. All work was done very professionally and the workers were very responsive to the minor changes that were introduced as the work progressed. We highly recommend that Dial One Pleasure Valley Constructions be used, or at least consulted, for any home remodeling projects"
