"Hi Angela, I do want to help you understand that my goal has always been to complete your project properly. When you mentioned that my crew was rude, (i have never had a customer tell me that), and not saying it wasn't true but I immediately took responsibility and told you I would personally take over the job. We agreed to meet last Friday, and I texted you to let you know I was on my way. When we arrived, we started working right away. I grind the concrete for a reason ? after 23 years in this business, I know exactly what needs to be done for a long-lasting concrete overlay. The preparation process is the most important step. After grinding, I power washed the porch, steps, sides, and risers. It?s normal during prep for some material to pop out ? that?s actually part of the process. The pressure washing exposes any hollow or loose areas that need to be removed to ensure the overlay adheres correctly. If I had left that material in place, the system would likely have failed within months, and I know you?d have been upset if that happened. Before I left, I looked for you (please ask your husband). I even told him we?d be back once the surface was ready for the application ? this was after cleaning your driveway and washing both your cars. A few hours later, I saw your call while I was on another line. I wasn?t ignoring you ? I simply couldn?t answer right at that moment. When we spoke, I explained that the area needed adequate drying time before moving forward, which is standard protocol for this type of work. I truly believe this situation has been a misunderstanding. You didn?t have the chance to see the process through, and I wish we?d had the opportunity to show you the quality we?re known for ? as reflected in our many 5-star reviews. We haven?t collected a dime from you, and my only goal is to complete the project correctly. I?m asking for the opportunity to resolve this matter professionally and finish the job the right way.
