"The stone decking at Water’s Edge Pond was weakened and falling into the water from all the gulley-washer rain storms we’ve had and Peak Structural was the only company in town that would take the job. The crew assigned to the job was top notch: Tim Hubbard, Spenser Aragon, Kato Morgan and Brad Jones plus others. They started and finished the job in the time promised and took great care to rebuild and fortify the foundation and grout work. I’m convinced the area is stronger now than when it was first constructed. The old grout was meticulously chipped-out, vacuumed-clean and re-packed with new super strong 5000-psi grout. Many homeowners complimented the hard-working professional crew as they worked on the project. Great quality, hope to recommend them for other jobs around the neighborhood. "Casta Construction did an excellent job! They removed an old wood deck and poured a concrete patio and 2 sets of steps. We were extremely pleased with their work. They were prompt and always cleaned up the work site when done. They were very approachable and easy to communicate with. Their final bill matched their quote exactly. They are the only number anyone needs to call to get professional concrete work done!✅"

"Both jobs were unusual. First was in a plaster and lathe ceiling. Second was on a very tall chimney. These craftsmen are great. I have tight scheduling and when you make an appointment, you make an appointment. I was really nervous about how much they charge (why I started with a small job ;-]). Don't be. Give them a try."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Prior to the middle part of the 1900s, glass manufacturers used a technique that involved blowing glass into cylinder shapes that were then flattened out to create sheets used for windows and doors. This technique often left behind ripples and inconsistencies in the glass.

Despite their popularity and modern styling, glass railings have a few drawbacks. The first is their high initial cost. While they cost little to maintain, they can be costly to install. Also, scratches and chips in the glass are highly visible and require repairs. Additionally, glass railings require frequent cleaning to maintain their good looks.

Some stained glass window pieces could have significant value depending on their artistic and historical impact. Stained glass windows dating back to the 1800s or early 1900s may be worth $2,000 to over $150,000, particularly for prestigious brands like Tiffany. But most stained glass used in residential settings will not have exponential value, particularly if the stained glass is a more modern reproduction of classic styles.

Hard water stains are caused by hard water. Hard water contains a lot of minerals, like calcium and magnesium. When water on your glass surfaces dries out, the minerals stay behind and stick to the glass. This results in a residue that looks like white cloudy or streaky spots. Call a pro to install a water softener to banish hard water problems.

Yes, it is possible to replace only the glass pane in a window without replacing the entire frame. However, this is a complex task that is best handled by a window repair professional. A technician can safely cut the seal, remove the old glass, install the new pane, and ensure it is properly sealed. For double-pane windows, this process involves creating a vacuum between the panes and filling it with insulative gas to restore the window's energy efficiency. Hiring a professional also ensures you select the right type of glass for your needs. This repair is almost always more affordable than replacing the entire window and frame.
