With years of hands-on experience in both residential and commercial concrete projects, I understand how important quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction truly are. From small projects to large jobs, I treat every project with the same level of care and professionalism.\n\nAt VP Concrete Solutions, we believe in honest work, fair pricing, and building strong relationships with our customers. "My driveway always flooded with the rain. Home star installed a drain and a pipe which emptied the water into a ditch on my front lawn. They slanted the concrete so the water would drain. They also installed a patio . The craftsmanship was excellent! And there was not any sign of debris after the job. I will hire them again."

"Terry and his crew arrived ready to tackle many challenges that came with building my new deck. Faced with constant rain, more than a few changes to plans, and difficult terrain to navigate his equipment around, Terry never told me he couldn't do something. Creative Landscape is exactly that, "CREATIVE"! My new, upper and lower deck are finished. Terry was able to take mine and my wife's vision and build it. I have much more work to be done still. Creative Landscape will be doing all of my landscaping work."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Driveway paving costs around $4,500 on average, but depending on many factors, you could pay anywhere from $2,500 to $6,600 or more. The size of your driveway will usually be the most significant factor, with more square footage increasing your costs. You can expect to pay between $2 and $15 per square foot for paving services. Some other factors that play a role include the following:

  • Quality of the materials

  • Contractor’s experience and expertise

  • Site preparation and grading, if necessary

  • Layout of your driveway

Yes, with colored finishes and decorative stamping for a personalized touch.

While some areas may allow for a slope of up to 20%, this is often the maximum slope for driveways, with a few exceptions of up to 25%. Other regions may have a maximum of 12%, 15%, or 18%, so check with your local building department to ensure you’re laying a driveway that is up to code for your location.

Cobblestone is just one of many driveway materials. Other, more economical, albeit less elaborate options include concrete, asphalt, and gravel.

If you want a material that most closely resembles cobblestone, your best option is bricks or pavers. Both cost anywhere from $10 to $50 per square foot and can be laid in all kinds of patterns. Depending on the type of paver you choose, you can also get a good bang for your buck by investing in durable natural stone.

Asphalt edging secures the sides of your driveway to prevent crumbling and cracking over time. Most driveways have edges with a 45-degree grading. This helps transfer some of the stress from the asphalt to the ground underneath. If your driveway doesn’t have proper edging, the pressure from your car may break down the edges over time.
