"I used Mr. Handyman to lower some cabinets in our garage, paint them and and also paint our stairs. and a couple doors. Jerry, our technician, did a fabulous job. He worked quickly, offered some advice and we could tell he was experienced. The project was completed in record time and everything looks great - he also cleaned up the area for us and removed the trash left behind. We will be using their services again! Like Share"

"The installers were great. The salesperson made promises that he did not keep and he missed a window. When the person came to measure he also didn’t catch that I was having all my windows done except one. The windows look great. The response when I notified the co that one window was missed was very fast but added to my cost."

"They listen and understood what I wanted. They made a recommendation, that I hadnâ t considered and it was very valuable for my drainage issues. I took the recommendation. The work was done very professionally , one day they installed forms, so I knew exactly where the line would be prior to concrete pouring. Then the work was carefully done for a smooth finish, adequate slope and section lines were drawn. The next day, the forms were removed and the area was complete. Today,, the project manager removed the cover for from the drains and I thanked him for the nice new concrete path I have separating my flower garden area from my lawn, I would have this company do work for me agsin. "James, Tyler & Paul were great! They were informative and never grouchy that we came out to look or ask a question! James kept us in the loop from the time he entered our property and continued throughout the 2 days they were here to do the job! Easy to talk to and well informed on all the work they did. The foundation of our garage had moved and we had noticed cracks which is why we called Groundwork’s to begin with. Clint was our first contact, he did a detailed inspection of our homes foundation. Gave us a quote and we could decide what to tackle and what we did not need to address. He did not pressure us which we appreciated. We signed a contract and they kept to that contract even when the job ended up taking more hand digging then originally thought. We were very pleased with the teams work ethic and communication."

"Yes, the job was challenging, but He and his crew did a great job."

Door installation usually takes three and four hours, including removing the old door and frame, fitting the new door and frame in place, shimming it to make sure it’s perfectly level, and making adjustments to the hinges and locking mechanisms to ensure proper functionality. A door-hanging professional can replace an interior door in between one and two hours. Door installation will take significantly longer if your installer needs to create a wall opening, and it can take less time if the existing door frame remains.
If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.
The average cost to install a door is around $1,100, but you could pay anywhere from $150 for a hollow-core interior door installation up to $2,000 or a high-end exterior door installation. There are a few cost factors to consider to get an accurate price, including whether your wall opening exists, the type of door, the quality and security of the door, whether you need to replace the frame, and the door size. You can expect to pay $150 to $700 for a standard 36-by-80-inch door and between $400 and $1,600 for an 80-by-48-inch door.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
It’s possible to install a door yourself if the wall opening already exists, but the work is rather complicated, and a professional installation is usually well worth the investment. For your door to work and close properly, you’ll need to shim and level the door frame in your wall perfectly, which can be difficult. Additionally, we recommend you always hire a professional door installer to place an exterior door, as mistakes during the installation process can lead to poor security for your home.
