"Juan did a beautiful job painting our kitchen walls and cabinets! It transformed our home. He was on time, good at communicating, took good care to protect surfaces while painting and had excellent suggestions to make our project turn out even better than expected. We are definitely hiring again!"

Small jobs welcome

"Clean up was not good. They ask to leave the plastic covering on the bookshelves due to the dust. I agreed, but when I went to remove the plastic, I found the blue masking tape holding the plastic was also plastered on the wall. There was also a 1 1/2 in. to 2 in. gap not plastered above the bookshelves. I will need to remove the blue tape and mud around the bookshelves myself. They placed paper all over the floor to protect the floors but tracked dust and plaster when removing the paper. A freshly painted wall was splattered with mud. Lots of dust left in the corners and light switches. Overall the sheetrock was done well, and the knockdown on the ceiling was very good. Their price was reasonable, and they did a good job. I am just not happy with the cleanup."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Deck repairs cost around $800 to $3,500 . However, your cost depends on the type and severity of the repair, as well as the type of decking material you have. Other factors, like location and labor costs, impact the price, too. Boards and railings are the priciest parts of a deck to repair, while loose stairs are less expensive to fix.

The cost to build a deck around a pool typically ranges from $3,000 to $12,000, depending on the size, material, and whether you tackle the build yourself. Most people pay an average of $5,000 for their pool deck project. Hiring a pro to build a pool will cost you more for labor, but it will be worth it to ensure a safe and secure installation.

An above-ground pool with a deck can increase your home's value by as much as 4% to 7%, but it depends on your local climate, potential buyers, and the size and condition of your pool. Some buyers see a pool as a liability instead of a luxury, especially if it's at the end of its life span. In general, it's best to add a pool and deck to your property if it will bring you enjoyment—not because it raises the value of your home.

Pressure-treated decks last 15 to 20 years on average, but with proper maintenance, you could get 40 to 50 years of value from yours. Reseal your deck every one to two years, and replace old or rotted wood as soon as possible to avoid structural damage. Where you live plays a role in the lifespan of your deck. Intense sunlight, rainfall, wind, and hail can reduce the deck’s lifespan.

Composite decking boards aren't your only options for building a deck. There are several other types of materials for decks, including wood and aluminum decking. Wood decking comes in many different wood species, offering natural beauty and classy timelessness to your yard. Aluminum is a lightweight, water-resistant, and low-maintenance material that is also non-slip.
