These girls had their work cut out for them as well but did a very good job baseboards ceiling fans and even organizing! I would definitely recommend these girls and do recommend them they do an amazing job. This was a two-day job as well for the amount of hours they put in it was well worth the money I spent indeed. Thanks guys so much for helpinme out .I'll definitelycall you again when my clutter starts to build up LOL thanks Adrian"

"Alan was prompt. Did an excellent job in replacing the carpet pad and reinstalling the carpet. His price was very reasonable. We had Alan to come back a few days later and tile a bathroom floor. We had concerns about replacing the tile around the edge of the floor/wall because of the age and the 2" tile vs the present day 4". Alan cut the 4" tiles down to 2" and installed them along side the new floor giving a very professional appearance, We are very pleased with Alan who is a very pleasant hard-working man and his professionalism. We will recommend him to friends and colleagues."

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

Outdoor Christmas lights cost between $80 to $300 on average without installation. This comes out to about $4 to $50 per strand. You can get a box of outdoor Christmas lights for as little as $20, if you just want to decorate a small area, like a doorway. If you want to go all out and cover your entire home, you'll need between 10 to 20 strands of 100 to 200 bulbs each.

Yes, you must use an extension cord specifically rated for outdoor use to power outdoor lights, such as Christmas lights. Extension cords intended for indoor use lack the protective properties to withstand exposure to outdoor elements. To safely hang and power lights outside your house or in your yard, always connect them to an outdoor power source using an outdoor-rated extension cord.

Yes, a holiday lighting installation can be a DIY project. While it is possible for homeowners to do it themselves, it's crucial to ensure all safety precautions are taken. This includes using the proper tools, following electrical safety guidelines, and carefully planning the layout. For large or high displays, professional installation is often recommended to ensure safety and a more polished appearance.

Considering the pros and cons of hiring a professional holiday light installer can help you decide if it’s right for you. Here are some advantages and disadvantages:

Pros

  • Saves time

  • Reduces stress

  • Produces for custom, high-quality designs

  • Provides better-quality lights

  • Reduces personal safety risks

  • May Include takedown and storage services

Cons

  • More expensive than DIY light installation

  • Less control over the design

  • High demand for installers

  • Contractors may keep the lights and decorations

Permanent lights can save you big in labor costs down the line, as you’ll only need to invest in installing them once. As with regular lights, costs vary based on the display and the size of your home. Costs are similar to hanging regular lights, typically falling between $220 and $650
