Hey, I'm Lance! I became a professional online portrait artist in 2006 after my family was taken from me in a tornado losing my mother, father, brother, and son. Twenty-eight lives were taken as well as all their possessions, like mine. I drew from destroyed photos their families so they could have memorial portraits of them at the funerals and for the rest of time. Since then I have made a living traveling the country doing shows and drawing from photos you email me on line. There is NO GIFT more unique that brings more tears of joy to a loved one's eyes like one of these. Nothing. I've seen it time and time again. I make it affordable to anyone who's ever wanted one of these. Paintings with half the detail of these can cost upwards of $30,000 limiting something like this from hanging in living rooms for families to the rich only. Not anymore. Here's how it works.. Simply email me your favorite picture or pictures to [email protected] with a brief description of what you would like done. The bigger and clearer the picture the better the drawing. I will start an initial sketch right away and take pictures of it and show it to you. Please email them quickly if possible, because the holidays are coming and I get busy. Once the initial sketch is done. I usually take something down on it. It's a lot of work doing the initial sketch. This varies on the cost of the drawing which we will discuss right away. Drawings are usually 175 for 9x12's 225 for 11x14's 275 for 14x17's After this process is done I continue with your art piece sending you photos on line all the way through which many people find a lot of fun. I am also friends on Facebook with almost every person I've ever drawn for as well and would like to be your friend as well if you would like that. I post them on FB at your discretion. It makes me way more legit to people as well. The Prices vary with the art because of the size of the drawing as well as the number of faces. The number of faces DOES NOT double the cost. Usually an extra face is added depending on the size from anywhere between 25 and 50, but I do deals on these more than anything, so please call me about it at .(850) 691-3976

We pride ourselves on providing quality service at a fair price. So much, that we were voted " Best Landscaper in Terre Haute" per the Terre Haute Tribune Star reader's choice awards 2 out of the last 3 years over Metzger, Mascari, & Bunch. We also value community involvement and are involved with, sponsor, volunteer & donate to : Indiana Special Olympics, Happiness Bag, United Way, Terre Haute Children's Museum, 100 Men Who Cook, Terre Haute Clothe a Child, Terre Haute Noon Optimist Club, Ryves Community Optimist Club, Terre Haute Catholic Charities, Indiana State University, Terre Haute Boy Scouts, and other local community groups..make a difference in your community, VOLUNTEER!

"I want to thank Cari and his team for all of their hard work, dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction. When problems arose, he did not hesitate to send his crew out (multiple times) to ensure I was given the best possible service. He even came out personally to speak with me about solutions to my land's specific issues. Their commitment and values exemplify what all local business owners should strive to be in the Haute. If there was one area I'd say they need improvement on, it would be better communication. Other than that, I highly recommend them!"

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

In the Christmas days of yore, people braved winter weather to staple or tack their Christmas lights onto their rooftops or nearby surfaces like the fascia boards. Problems quickly emerged with that approach. Damage to the roof, even small marks from staples, provides entryways for moisture and similar issues that can hasten roof rot, wear, and associated leaks. Plus, some homes had tough fiber cement boards or other materials where staples and screws didn’t work.

The cost of professional Christmas light installation is $430 on average, but it can range from $100 for basic projectors to $1,200 or more for an extensive holiday light installation. The overall price also depends on the size of your home and any other location where you’ll be adding lighting. For instance, a small, one-story home typically costs between $250 and $600 for light installation, but a 4,000-foot multi-story home costs significantly more, ranging from $500 to $1,800.

To synchronize your Christmas show to music, you’ll need the standard holiday lights, decorations, lawn ornaments, tools, and outdoor-rated extension cords. You’ll also need a digital controller, computer, and software that allows you to create your musical show.

Ensure you have a safe environment for them to work on, and there aren’t items such as logs, build-up of yard materials, missing or damaged shingles, and weak areas on the roof. Communicate any known electrical issues with contractors at the beginning of the project, and consider hiring an electrician to fix those. Finally, if you are attempting the project yourself, do so when there isn’t any rain, and you can safely get your footing on the roof using proper equipment, such as an extension ladder. Don’t attempt this alone, and have a helper nearby to assist.

While it’s a somewhat common method for hanging Christmas lights, using a staple gun is not safe for your roof. Poking any kind of hole can potentially damage your roof and expose it to the elements, whether it’s from nails or a staple gun. Shingle tabs are the best way to hang lights on your roof without the damage.
