Sherman Moving company pulled through for us in 2019 in a very stressful situation when all of our stuff was transferred from another moving company’s storage. The other company said they could not move us out of state at the last minute. Sherman’s Moving took all our belongings and transferred to their storage and moved us. In 2023, we had no idea we would be moving back to Indy. But, when we decided to move back, that was one thing we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about! There are very few companies I would give an A++. They moved us back to Indy, stored our belongings for 6 months and then moved us when we found a house. "Working with Michael to set up the two moves with terrific. My problems came from the actual movers. The first movers dropped a heavy piece and damaged it. This group to our items to a location where they were transferred to another group to finish the move. More damage happened. The second move was done by a different group who picked up our things and delivered them. Again some damage. My problem with the second move was with the claim department at National Van Lines. I was overly careful about the damages I claimed (only submitting the largest items or easiest to replace), but had to negotiate to get a fair deal. BUT NVL did set me up with a great guy who could fix most of the damaged items."
