"We were profoundly disappointed with the outcome of the work. There are splinters in the doorway, the entire perimeter is rough and uneven, some of the planks that were newly replaced were cracked and filled with wood filler, nail holes were not filled, they used two different varnishes, there is a gap between the flooring and the cabinet, they did not varnish the floor under/behind the refrigerator, the crew damaged multiple pieces of brand-new furniture and appliances. I also discovered that the crew was drinking beer while working. My husband immediately requested that a new/different contractor be brought in to rectify the mess that HQF had made of our floors. However, we both decided to give them a second chance only if they would send a new crew of workers, ensure that the equipment was functioning properly, and refrain from rushing the job. "I highly recommend this business. They showed up on time, very professional and had the flooring laid that day. We are an eighty year old couple and they went above and beyond for us. They moved a lot of the heavier furniture that we could not and said it was no problem, they even laid flooring in the entry way, which they were not expecting to do but I asked them when they arrived if they had time could they possibly lay the flooring by my front door. They worked hard all day and laid the flooring by my door, even though they were not expecting to have to do so, I cannot recommend them enough! They did a wonderful job!! The floor looks awesome!"

"I hired this contractor for demo and this was an absolutely horrible experience. It says they have been in service for 16 years. It is more like hired 16 year olds to do the job. I seen it for myself. I paid for a professional demolition people not children. They told me that the screws and nails were not part of demolition. They were trying to charge me extra for that. they stated they would remove all the nails and screws in the wood. When I checked on their work, they took a sawzall to cut them off. Instead of removing them with a hammer like they should have. Now it is gonna cost me more money to fix that problem. They also charge me for an extra dumpster for my debris. They bought the smallest dumpster possible. Meanwhile, they were dumping the debris into the abandoned house next-door. They knocked out my window, and with the doors made a bridge to do the dumping. After all was said and done. There was still debris in my grass, on the sidewalk and in the street. "
