He is amazing. His quality and craftsmanship are unmatched especially for the price.

Initially, Joe was great. He answered texts and calls and showed up to work as promised. I paid him in cash and each time had no hesitation because he seemed like a hard-working family man who took pride in his work. Unfortunately, this 2-week project turned into a 4-month project and not only did I have to move out of my home for weeks, I had to have a family member take my dog for this entire time. I was having my bathroom remodeled at the same time, and Joe was there to see me get cheated from these men yet pulled the same disappearing act. Joe stopped coming near the end of the project and left me for a month without stairs and even longer without finishing the last bit of details (coating on floor, trim, shoe, grout). He stopped answering my calls and texts. I had to hire a lawyer to get him to come back and finish the project. Joe finished the job while I was not home and never offered to do a final walk-through with me. There are issues (chunk of wood out of stair, white marks on the floor, one piece of wood is cracked all the way through in the middle of my hallway, mysterious wood pieces in my trim he cut out that I have no idea why this was done) that were never addressed. I refuse to even bother asking him to come back and look at these items, I will hire someone else to correct these things. He left his materials in my downstairs living room for weeks, did not replace the electrical box cover, and put the wrong dirty kickplate on my kitchen island. Overall this project was $8600 and I paid him $8100. The remaining $500 I will not pay him since I incurred legal fees of over $400, various expenses for moving out of my home, and will have to hire someone else to finalize everything. Not to mention a couple other expenses related to the delay of this project. If you hire Joe I HIGHLY suggest NOT paying more than 50% until the job is 100% complete and you do a final walk-through. I try to support small businesses, however, I regret not going with another company, a corporate company, who guaranteed my job to be done in 3 days by a crew of men (not one guy) or it would be free. It would have been worth the extra money!!!

If you have cats be careful. Leaves door open when working. Two got out one is still missing.

We had paint splattered worn out red oak flooring in our new home purchase. Sopt came over on Sat afternoon, gave us a quote and began refinishing on Weds. They were professional, timely and the finished product is beautiful. They quoted 4 days and finished in four days. On time, on money and beautiful work. Would highly recommend them.

Sopt Flooring did an outstanding job refinishing our hardwood floors. Mr. Sopt contacted us within a couple of hours after we requested quotes through Angie's List. He came to our home promptly the next day to provide a quote, and began the work on our hardwood floors on the day agreed upon. He and his team sanded and put a dark stain on our floors (about 800 sq ft). He completed the work on the fifth morning, and the results were absolutely beautiful! He and his team were very professional at all times.

Very satisfied with work, very professional and quality work. Cost is higher than other competitors but I’m glad I chose these guys for my project. I’m very picky about quality but you won’t be disappointed with this company. Joe is very experienced in what he do, his workmanship shows it all.

I feel he was very unprofessional. I think if he didn't overbook himself and just handle one job at a time he could do quality work. He lies about showing up to complete the work, may show up at 8:00 PM with some lie but will not call to let you know. 1st appointment wanted to use our tools which was odd. Signed contract to do 3 rooms started then said he couldn't do 1 of the rooms so I'm left with 1 unfinished room. He put black stain on cedar stairs in which I did not order so he took it off leaving black pot holes up and down stairs. He said he could repair spots with broken wood instead he just found old wood that didn't match didn't place them in the right position so they look crazy right in the middle of the floor. 2nd room he was to return and apply 2nd coat but has not after 3 attempts. We started in June still has not completed the job, I stopped payment on check he then promised to come finish which was another lie because I'm still held up from opening my business because he was too lazy to do the smallest room, complained about the heat but showed up in the middle of the day after we would wait for him all morning. I hate I gave him the opportunity to ruin my whole summer waiting on him and his son that arrives when ever they like. I over paid him and I want my refund for the stairs $1000.

Transformed my floor from a scratched and stained floor to a beautiful like new oak floor. Very quick, professional and efficient. Will be using again!!
