"Aritas LLC, cancelled the first scheduled day due to some of his employees taking vacation and did not notify until after I called questioning if they were going to arrive that day. We rescheduled for the following week and they arrived on-time. Overall, the finished work was done as discussed and were thorough for adding caulking around the doors to prevent water from leaking inside the house. Jose also repaired the doors on two cabinets as well. He mentioned that if there are any future leaks inside the house that he would fix it at no additional cost."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Ashley was friendly and personable and a lot of fun to work with! So happy with the transformation I received and definitely recommend anyone wanting to clean/organize their space to check out Harmony Organizers!"
Pots and Pans Organization
"Junk" Drawer Organization
Before the transformation, the closet space was underutilized, and the limited storage options for toys often left them scattered on the floor.
Before beginning this project, I recognized the need to create distinct spaces for each girl's belongings. Their toys, clothing, art supplies, and beauty items required dedicated storage solutions to ensure the room's organization could be easily maintained.
I added a closet organization system to fit their needs. This opened up drawers for dedicated toy storage. Additionally, I incorporated a storage solution above the bed for stuffed animals, ensuring they are conveniently accessible for the child.

Closets questions, answered by experts

Since they are so fragile, it is not usually recommended to stack anything on top of your packed lamps. If you have sturdy boxes, and what you plan to put on top of them is of a similar weight, it’s okay to stack.

You may need a building permit to add a closet, depending on the size and kind of work required to install it. The most likely scenario requiring a permit involves changing the structure of the house and performing electrical work for closet lighting. A permit can cost between $100 and $450. If you’re installing a smaller reach-in closet, a permit may not be required, but always check with your local municipality and consult a closet designer or builder.

Bump-out additions can add some space to a closet without requiring any significant structural work. This entails pushing back the existing rear or side of the closet, simply moving the wall into either an adjacent room or unused space. For ground-floor closets, this could even be extended to the exterior of the home, but that has its own complications. Bump-outs are a good discussion to have with your contractor if you’re just looking to increase the space a little—not renovate the entire closet space.

Plywood offers excellent stability and strength for drawer construction. Baltic birch plywood provides a premium appearance, while standard hardwood plywood offers good value. Solid wood works well but requires more attention to grain direction and seasonal movement.

When you are securing your DIY home office built-ins to the wall, you should start by locating the wall studs. You'll then want to use long screws to attach the cabinets, shelves, and bookcases directly to the wall studs. Your built-ins will be far too heavy to attach to the drywall alone by using anchors.
