"These guys were great. I spoke with Tony for a home painting job. He was very polite, patient, professional and answered alllll my questions, as they arose, in a timely manner. 2 polite young men, Ardit and Ricardo, showed up on the date of the project on time and ready to work. "I called global asphalt and paving in the a m for a price on removing and replacing the asphalt in my drive. He said that they got pulled off of another job and could do my drive that same day which really surprised me.They started about 10 and were done at about 4. They also did my neighbors drive at the same time. they did exactly what I asked them to do and did an excellent job."

"John came out very promptly gave us a reasonable quote. We like everything thing he explained to us. Regarding our driveway along with different things we can consider. If your new pavers look dull or unclean, it is likely due to efflorescence, a chalky, white powder that forms when lime in the pavers gets wet. This condition often resolves on its own, as rain will naturally wash it away within about a year. For faster results, you can use a pressure washer to clean the pavers. Alternatively, consider using cleaning products specifically designed to remove efflorescence or applying sulfuric acid crystals.

Driveways should be sloped with a minimum 2% slope—anything lower will cause precipitation and runoff to collect. A 2% slope is the equivalent of a 2-foot rise over 100 feet. One quick way to check the integrity of your driveway’s slope: no more than four inches of water should collect on the surface longer than 15 minutes after rain.

Professional installers often include a deep layer of crushed gravel under permeable pavers to allow more runoff to soak through into the soil below. Many installations will include multiple layers of gravel, with coarser aggregate at the base and finer aggregate that sits on top of that bottom layer. Above the gravel, you’ll often find coarse sand that helps reduce paver shifting over time. Some permeable paver designs include a water collection system set into the gravel layer to route runoff to a safe area for disposal.
