"I recently purchased a whole-house gas generator from Ashpaugh Electric, Inc., an authorized Generac dealer. The owner provided a great amount of detail in discussing the quote. The installation went extremely well—I couldn’t be happier. Their work was precise, everything placed level and in straight lines, carefully done in every way. The sod was dug in shallow squares (by Brennen) so I could reuse it. Mud work on the inside drywall was neatly done (by Derek). Everything was well coordinated (by Greg), and he regularly updated me about the job’s status and the various people coming on site. I am thankful for Tommy’s presence (initial delivery and final WiFi setup). This crew did many other tasks over the course of a few days, and in the end everything looked and worked great. Within one week we had a power outage due to a severe thunderstorm; the lights went out for a second and then wonderfully came back on because the generator was working; power was soon restored and the generator turned off, just as it was described."

"It was pretty rocky. At first. Several appoints made by Tri-State no one ever showed up.Crew showed up to install the Generator before the site survey and did not have necessary equipment or cooperation of Electric or gas company nor call before you dig had been notified. I called Tri-State to warn them the call before dig had never been preformed. They said they'd take care of it, did not happen until right before installation crew came back the second time. The first time they were here they could not have installed the generator even had they had all the parts because none of the utilities had been marked. Finally after about three months the Generac was installed and working. I had several questions that I could never get answered by calling Tri-State. One of the installation team had to come back a couple of weeks later to replace a damaged part and he answered all my questions. The guys who installed the Generac were great, the problem is your guys operation center and call center as far as I can see do not communicate very well. Anyway the generator has worked fine in several power outages this spring. I am happy right now but I live in dread something goes wrong and I have to call Tri-State for help."

The equipment they installed was much better than the previous one. I now have a circuit breaker, which I did not have before. They worked constantly in the hot weather and garage without hesitation. The job was finished way before AES showed up to turn the power back on. One of the workers stayed throughout the remainder of the day waiting on AES. Once they showed up, he walked through the house to make sure everything was working properly and explained everything that was installed. He showed me pictures of the damage on the roof and, where he repaired it. He even hauled away the debris from tree trimming that AES done. This was way beyond what I expected him to do.
