He arrived at the site a few minutes early, inspected the exterior of the house from top to bottom, and then completed a thorough inspection of the inside of the house. Very cordial and even welcomed our young daughter along to 'assist' him as he worked. He answered all of our questions as we went through the inspection process together, pointing out the good features of the home, along with the areas needing work. He conducted RADON testing as well. He went up on the roof and also visual inspected the chimney. Took pictures of all areas of concern. We received a detailed report in just a short time frame. We highly recommend Mr. Ramsey and are glad we hired him to do the inspection. We thought it was plugged up, because moisture was coming into the house when we used the dryer. He inspected the dryer vent, hose etc and found that it had pulled loose from the dryer. He repaired this connecting it to the dryer again and cleaned the vent with his equipment. He also cleaned up the area around the dryer and vent hose connection. He also suggested replacing the outside cover that put back in place, but said was worn. He also gave me some information about other services like cleaning our fireplace and chimney. We had worked together on other occaisions on new construction. It was difficult to get the job started. He needed half up front before the job started. They tore off gutter guards, lightening rods and one eave spout that were NEVER replaced. He installed the shingles and wanted payment in full. He was NEVER responsive to completing the details once the roof was on. I discovered later that I probably paid close to double what I should have paid. I found a serious leak around the chimney due to the fact that there was no flashing. I would never use him again and would recommend others avoid any contact.

Hi, We have been in business since 1993. I am accredited through the BBB, Licensed / Insured. Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts
Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.
The terms “roof sealant” and “roof coating” are used interchangeably to describe the rubber, silicone, polyurethane, or acrylic product applied to the roof’s surface for waterproofing and UV protection. Products like roof caulk can also be called “roof sealant,” but the term is more commonly used for the protective coating.
Yes, roof ridge caps are a necessary part of your roof system. Your roof ridge cap is at the peak of your roof, where two slopes of your roof meet. Roof ridge caps seal the seam and help protect your roof from water and debris, and because they’re pre-bent and thicker, they’re more suited to the job than regular roof shingles, which can break when bent.
Framing a roof can take from several days to a week or more, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, the number of people working on the framing, weather conditions, and more. Roof framing is often the final step of framing a house, although in some cases, the roof may be framed before the interior of the home in order to offer more protection from the elements.
TPO roofing can last anywhere from 15 to 30 years, or an average of 22 years, but you can extend its life expectancy through proper roof maintenance. For the best chance at realizing the longest life span possible, keep tree branches trimmed so they’re not in contact with the roofing material. Inspect your roof regularly and repair any damage immediately.
