"In August of this year our regular "tall hedge team of trimmers" told us our two 17 foot high arborvitae hedges were now too tall to reach. I then began to research and contacted the top 10 "well known & high rated " Porter County Tree Trimmers, Lawn Maintenance and Landscapers, including Purdue's extention Department of Forestry . I was asking these business to trim my high hedge or if they knew somebody who had the right equipment to trim my high hedges. Half replied, they were not interested, the other half, never replied. Then I reached out to a newer business "10X Better Lawn and Landscape". James replied quickly and with enthusiasm! He came to our yard and looked at the huge hedges and addressed our concerns and gave us a quote, which was surprisingly about the same as we had been paying others. He emailed us the quote, with a well written job description and time frame. Within two weeks he was out with his crew and equipment . He also trimmed our many long boxwood hedges as well. James and his crew were professional and their trim work was even and precise. We will call him next September!"

"J E Landscaping sent an estimator the day after we placed the request. Our tree was rotting from the inside, unknown to us. A large branch crashed down on our house 2 days later. Our insurance said to have the tree removed before they could send an adjuster. This company was able to come out on Monday to work on the Emergency Tree removal. We had the entire tree cut down, including the stump. The men worked 10 hours. They were amazing, hard working, careful and friendly. They worked around wires near the house and tree without damage. Flower and vegetable gardens were intact. The stump was ground up. Wood chips taken away. Black dirt and grass seeded in the hole. Cleanup was fantastic. I would recommend JE Landscaping for 5 Star work."

Our insurance said to have the tree removed before they could send an adjuster. This company was able to come out on Monday to work on the Emergency Tree removal. "I wanted to give them a great review, the owner is extremely friendly and patient and had fair prices. They were going to redo my paved patio and install front landscaping. I was away for work when they installed landscaping, I was told about the pavers for edging they were going to use. But when I came home, I saw that the just used leftover bricks from the patio. They put one with a huge rust stain right in front that looked terrible and one brick was cracked on the side part of edging. I Ended up Removing the edging all together and redid it myself with different edging. ( I was also supposed to have bright fuchsia-colored lilies and I had dark red.) Also, the entire outer row of bricks on my patio came loose. The owner called back and sent someone to fix it without any issue. It is ok now but they used yellowish sand when they came back to fix it and the other sand is gray. It is noticeably different, when I removed the patio rug there is a huge line of the hardened sand on the concrete that I cannot seem to get all of it out just yet. The owner also told me he would get me a specific ground cover for a portion of the landscape, and he never did. I was very excited when I hired them and had high hopes that my outside would finally look like it should. While it looks better than it originally did, I feel like they tried to cut some corners on this project that ended up costing me more afterward. I just wish they would have put a little more care into it and really made it a quality work."
