"Voda did a wonderful job cleaning and reviving my sectional and were able to treat it to keep it clean longer between deep cleanings. So thankful, as my family spends a lot of time on this sectional watching movies together. Now we don't have to worry as much about dropping a slice of pizza on the couch."

"This company is fantastic. I had a mess in a home we bought to rehab. These folks cleaned the ducts, but saved me $4,000+ dollars on various things they found that were serious issues, that were not related to the ducts. Even found a place where a previous installer for my water heater set me up for a fire. These folks are fantastic. $700 cleaning, $3300 saved!!!!"

"Dan Dugan came to our home to do an inspection, evaluation and price quote for a central air conditioner and new heating system. He delivered an itemized quote that afternoon. We set a date for the installation. Dan and his staff arrived on time, clean and professional, every single day they worked. We received constant updates and were continually consulted during all phases of service. Each afternoon they left our home clean and neat. They disposed of all old equipment and any unnecessary mess. Everyone we dealt with was professional, honest, helpful, and considerate of our privacy. I highly recommend Dugan Air and would use them again without question.

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes. Baking soda and vinegar—when diluted with water—are safe to use to clean sticky laminate floors.

A toilet in a guest bathroom that doesn’t get used very often can usually be cleaned less frequently, but toilets that are used regularly should be cleaned every week. Cleaning your toilet more frequently than once per week is usually unnecessary.

Yes, you can use household cleaners on silicone caulk, but opt for mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Solutions like vinegar and water are effective for tackling mold and dirt. Avoid cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals because they can damage the caulk. Always test a small area first to ensure the cleaner doesn’t cause any adverse effects.

There are many benefits to hiring a professional floor cleaner. First, these flooring pros know the right chemicals for your flooring type, which is essential for its longevity. Likewise, they have the proper deep-cleaning equipment, which is often more complex than a mop or broom. Not only that, but deep cleaning your floors can be a time-consuming process, and by hiring a professional, you can spend that time on other home improvement projects.

The best thing with which to clean a hot tub is whatever the manufacturer recommends; in most cases, this is a gentle surface cleaner and a soft cloth. Recommended hot tub cleaners can include specially formulated cleaning agents, mild dish soap, baking soda, vinegar, or diluted bleach. For your hot tub exterior, choose wood or vinyl cleaner (depending on the casing material).

You should never use household cleaning products, harsh chemicals such as undiluted bleach or acids, or abrasive cleansers or cloths, as these can scratch or etch your hot tub’s coating or shell and cause permanent damage.
