We are a brotherly owned & operated handyman service for homeowners of Indiana. DeeH's offers a wide variety of services, whether big or small. Originally Cotton farmers in Arkansas, our land was wiped by the ef-4 tornado that came through late 2021. As of 2024 I've decided to take my hands on knowledge & 3 years commercial carpentry experience, and apply that to DeeH's Solution. Employing my brothers, we are highly devoted. I have a wide array of battery, corded, & air tools and equipment. Safety is always factored in first prior to work & standard PPE is mandatory for all sites. Some of our Services are but aren't limited to: - Concrete removal, demolition, clean up, consolidation. - Roof & gutter cleaning, Mold & moss treatment, shingle patch work, etc. - Moving helpers, laborers. - waste/junk removal, clean up. - basic auto mechanic services, fluid changes, Inspections, etc. - Emergency call outs, stranded jumpstarts, lock outs. - Long out of state drives so you don't have to. - Remodeling. In most cases, you have to sand crown molding before painting. This is due to the nature and design of molding. It’s not a flat wall, so uneven surfaces will be immediately noticeable once that paint dries. Sanding down the surface smooths everything out, leading to a satisfactory result. If the trim is already smooth, such as with new crown molding, you can give it a light sand with 120-grit sandpaper.

Yes, you can absolutely paint a wall that has skip trowel texture, but you need to make sure you have the right tools and use the appropriate strategies. First, make sure you buy a high-capacity roller with at least a ¾” nap. This type of roller will hold enough paint to make application easy, and the thick nap is more likely to apply paint over the peaks and valleys. Additionally, you can’t tape a textured wall, so paint any untextured walls or ceilings first, then tape the smooth surfaces and paint the skip trowel walls last.

In addition to paint, you’ll need some other supplies to paint a house yourself. These include:
