"Called said they would be late like 10 minutes. Not a deal-breaker. But they did not show, called 2x finally reached them, gave excuses, etc. I was late for a very important meeting while waiting for them. Said would give a discount but them screwing up an appt for an estimate...sorry no thanks !!!!"

"Two employees that he brought. A wrapped on time. At 10 o'clock by 11: 30, they were by 11 o'clock. They were having to call him to bring him a chainsaw because their equipment didn't have bars on the chainsaw so they couldn't cut. I had a tree down in my yard and it needed it to be cut up. It was a partial tree. They didn't even have the equipment to cut it up. And then, like, I said . Guy was there when the employee called him at 11: 30, and asked for a chainsaw, and he didn't show up with anything until 4: 30. In the afternoon, these guys were out there trying to chop up these trees using a pickaxe. They didn't even have a telephone to call him with. He left them without a phone. They had to use my phone and my daughter's phone to even contact him. And then he rushed me to pay him because he told me not to worry about it until you know everything was done. And he rushed me to pay him. I was out at the grocery store, and I told him I'd be home. He, they told me, you were here. And that's what I'm not. I'll be right there. And then, when I get there, he's standing on my porch waiting on me. I thought you were in the house, and I already told him I wasn't at home. Well, then I go out and I look after they leave because he didn't even give me time to look. They had taken a wreck and a half of my firewood that they weren't supposed to touch. They had chopped up my, uh Rosa Sharon bush, that they weren't supposed to touch. They were supposed to take a pile of brush out of the backyard. They didn't take it, and they were supposed to trim two small trees out over the top of my shed, and those didn't get touched. And when I told him that he argued with me and said, well, they said they did it with a machete. As it was obvious. If you come and look, those trees are still there so I didn't like his attitude. I didn't like the way he treated his employees. They had no way to contact him if and when they had gotten done early, which they couldn't because they didn't have the equipment they needed to do the job with. But he sure wanted my money real quick. "

Hi my name is Joe, and we take pride in our work . I enjoy working for myself I like to see smiling faces and a job well done we can do almost anything and we're very fair there's no job to big or small also do emergency tree removal I look forward to hear from u thanks and have a wonderful day thanks.

"It went well once I knew what number to call. I believe the phone number on here is a number to call and it forwards to his number. Then if you text the number on here to communicate, he does not get it as it is not the number his number it is the number to reach him through this site. After I figured that out, he came over, quoted me what it would be, and since not too big of deal, he cut it right after giving me a price and got it done quickly. I certainly would hire again. Thanks!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

You may be wondering if you really need the snow removed from your roof. Since most roofs can only handle 20 pounds per square foot of snow accumulation, there is a tipping point when you are suddenly at risk of roof collapse. This can cause a lot of damage, not just to your home, but to your belongings, too. It also poses a physical danger to your family. Also, a lot of snow on a roof makes it more susceptible to ice dams, leaks, and water damage.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

If a big freeze catches you by surprise and you don’t have any deicer to hand, you can reduce the chance of taking a tumble by laying gritty, anti-slip materials. Some natural, readily-available options that don’t melt ice but offer traction underfoot include sand, wood shavings, kitty litter, and fireplace ash.

Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.

You can use hot water to melt ice from your driveway, but there are some serious caveats. Very hot water can quickly melt ice and remove it, which is helpful if you’re very short on time and need a solution ASAP. However, it will only work across a small area, after which there’s a chance the water will freeze again. The sudden clash of temperatures is dangerous for fragile materials, notably windows and other glass, so you’ll want to keep the water away from your car.
