Can't install new garage door tomorrow w/out a working opener + I need more time to empty garage as basement recently flooded. Salesman wrote contract for 50% deposit then charged almost entire price to my card, did not offer to adjust. Emailed him this morning to get help w opener and reschedule install. He didn't help with either and now he's calling and emailing me clearly getting to keep the install scheduled, which i assume serves his needs. Didn't even read my request and continually interrupted me on the phone. Meanwhile, Overhead Door can find NO record of purchase on the opener. same name and address for 30 years BTW. Poor records on their part. I've never had a car small enough to go in this garage so the opener has rarely ever been used and I'm supposed to just get a new one? I do not work for this company but today sure feels like it. NO confidence in going forward if they can't even keep sales records. My next step is a Consumer Complaint to the Missouri Attorney General's office."

"It didn't go well. I looked out the window on appointment day and saw a van in my driveway. By the time I opened the garage door the van was gone. This person never rang the door the bell. I called the company and the woman that took the call told me her guy showed up but nobody was home. I told her that's not true and she said she will send the man back. About forty minutes later, the man showed up and told me that I needed a new door and opener because of the age and tear. He gave me a quote and I paid half and he told me his technician will come the next day in the morning to install the door and opener since I wanted it done as quickly as possible. The technician didn't show up until in the afternoon. I did not find out that the door they sold to me does not have a handle until we lost power. I called the 'front man', he has a business card that has only David on it, and he told me to send him text message and I did, but he never responded. I called him again and he told me I never asked for door with handle, and that if I needed one he would have to charge extra money. I told him that's not how to conduct business and he got upset and told me to call the company. I called the company and the woman told me the 'technician' will call me. The 'technician' called me and told me the door is not designed to have a handle, and that it is not hard to lift up during power outage. He said he will come back to put a handle on the inside but not outside. The man never showed up. I have tried to talk to the owner/manager, but the woman that takes calls won't let me. She would say that the technician will call me when he's in my area and will hang up before I could say anything else."

"Horrible. Wrote him a check in advance (I know, STUPID!!!) for $15, 837.75 plus $1,345.00 for him to prepare the garage floor and repair cracks. The garage was torn down before he even had the permit approved, so we've been without a garage since around December of 2016. He did to the so-called prep, but another contractor said the work was horrible and would need to be redone. We have called, written, emailed, and he refuses to take our calls. My husband went to his house on several occasions to try to get him to either refund the money or do the work. NO RESULT."
