"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"David was ready to take on the job we requested. They showed up on time and did a really good job. We had purchased the wrong door and they even returned the door and took care of getting the correct product. He and all his workers were friendly and they work really well together on doing a good job. I am planning to hire them again the first of year for another project."

"5 months after the job is done, front part of the roof is now leaking where we had issues before. Checked into possible hail damage. Insurance adjuster says we have damage, and shingles are already visibly worn because they **are a poor quality shingles** Said there are places where the nails are already conning up, damaging the shingles, too. Should not be happening on a new roof. Buyer beware. Research what shingles they tell you they are using to verify quality and verify you are getting what you were promised. I believe we got what was promised and what we paid for, but was not knowledgeable enough and did not do my research to realize the promised product was not very good. Have now read through GAF warranty info and learned that there are very few instances in which they will actually do anything to help the client. In fact, if you make a claim, and they decide it is not their fault, they will charge you $500. Avoid GAF shingles! My main disappointment with workmanship was I found a bunch of nails in my gutters and quite a few in my driveway afterward. Just did not do a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves. Also, they had to pull some of the siding off to lay the rubber roof. It was not reattached well so started falling off when we had some winds afterward. This is the first time I have ever had to hire a roofer. Maybe my expectations were just too high. Not looking forward to having to do this all over again now thanks to the hail. But glad that it was discovered and will have to be redone knowing that there were problems already popping up."

"Very well. On time and professional!"

Siding repair costs $870 for an average homeowner. This cost could be as little as $75 or as much as $16,000, depending on your existing siding material, repair type, and damage level. For example, for basic siding repair, you can expect to pay between $2 and $16 per square foot for materials and labor. However, if you have extensive damage or for more expensive materials like stucco, that price jumps to $4 to $50 per square foot.
The cost to replace siding for your home is $11,450 on average. But siding replacement can cost up to $40,000 or more, with the largest expense being your chosen material. For example, for a 2,000 square feet house, the average cost of siding materials such as vinyl is between $9,000 and $14,000. Wood siding is a little more expensive, ranging from $16,000 to $26,000. However, for the same size house using brick or stone, that cost jumps to $18,000 to $100,000. When choosing to replace your home’s siding, it’s essential to consider your climate and longevity.
The length of time your siding will last will depend on the siding material and your climate. It’s important to remember that proper routine maintenance, like twice-a-year cleaning, is vital to help extend the longevity of your siding and to avoid replacement before its expected lifetime ends.
Vinyl, aluminum, and wood siding lasts 20 to 40 years
Fiber cement siding lasts around 50 years
Brick and stone veneer siding lasts at least 100 years
There are several different types of siding available to give you the home exterior of your dreams. Each type of siding has its own cost factors, estimated lifespan, and benefits to fit your needs. Some common siding options include:
Vinyl
Wood
Aluminum
Fiber cement
Brick
Stone and stone veneer
Stucco
If you want to stay environmentally friendly, wood siding is natural, recyclable, and renewable. However, if you’re looking for a durable siding option that is more resistant to dents and scratches, brick or stone siding is your best choice.
There are certain circumstances where your homeowners insurance might cover the expense of siding repair. If you have siding damage due to extreme weather, a natural disaster, a fire, or a hail storm, your policy might fully or partially pay for the repair or replacement cost. However, most policies will not help pay for repairs due to general wear and tear. It’s best to review your homeowners insurance policy for full details on what may be covered.
