The advisor came out back at the end of September to measure, estimate the cost, explained the product which is custom made to my window measurements. Today 11/3/15 the service tech came with my new windows and indicated it would take about 4 hours to install. He was right on the mark with time, very professional and the installed went very well. love my new windows.

We had Window World replace 36 windows in our home. The entire house including the basement windows.
These guys are so amazing! They did the entire job in 3 days. The old windows were original to our 1918 house, which can be a little complicated. The replacement windows are vinyl, and a number of them needed to match our interior wood trim. The window mullions very closely match the old windows. They are double hung and have all the great features that can be that Window World offers.
New windows are probably one of the best in vestments in our home. We could not be happier and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

The salesman was great however when it came time for installation, the door was not at all done the way we had thought it would be done. (installer said it could not be done the way we had discussed with the salesman) Installation took a lot longer than even they anticipated and a part had to be ordered as the installer cut a piece too short. Anyway it took over a month to finally get the installation finished from the time it was started. Seems like a long time from when the windows come in until they are even able to schedule an installation. Their work was good and I assume we will not have any trouble with them. Since it is a sun porch and it was not completed until the end of Dec., we have not had occasion to try them out.

Once I requested an estimate online, Window World returned my request promptly and arranged a time for someone to take measurements and provide the estimate. The salesman was professional and thorough and answered all questions I had. The quality of windows is very good for the price - as I had gotten estimates from other window companies.
Once the windows came in, the install date was scheduled and the workmen were on time and very considerate of my home. They were very fast - in and out - but did a good job.
I continue to recommend them to friends looking to replace their windows.

A Window World representative came to talk to us about our project, showing all the facts about the company, the windows, installation and the lifetime guarantee. He explained everything and did not push at all. I am frugal but I want the best quality and so I really researched several companies, got several bids, and explored all options, including the option of buying the windows from a big box retailer and having a handyman install them. I also compared the efficiency ratings of different brands. Window World's bid was almost half the price of the others, with excellent windows, and a guarantee. I was not disappointed. They were professional, clean, and got the job done in a day. I was very happy with them.

The salesmen that came out was Don, and he was amazingly enthusiastic, knew the products inside and out, showed me all the models and went in to depth why their product was different. We talked about the pros and cons. I contacted them, they set up the appointment and he came out. The sales are fantastic, the windows are fantastic, the installation is the problem. the installation was done by a sub-contractor, a father and son. They did a great job but the son in particular was careless. I had 6 windows put in but when they were putting those in and taking the old ones out, the son didn't lay a tarp down so I had lots of glass in and outside of the house. They used my vacuum to clean the glass, and I still found shards of glass sometimes after.

The a windows themselves were good - just what we expected, however I was not pleased with the installation. I have drafts from all of the windows. I didn't notice them until the Fall - they were installed in early spring. I did not pursue it because I did not think I had any recourse. The estimate appointment was great, professional and personable. The men who came and installed them were polite but seemed a little shady. This was about 5 years ago and I hope the installation process is more efficient.

The windows aren't done yet so we haven't got the construction started yet. We haven't done much with yet because the windows have to come first. The estimate process was fine. I was very pleased with it. The price was just about the same with everybody else and everything I like about, was the fact that there was a warranty and the company has been in business for a long time, and it's national, and I thought that way, with customs that went wrong, they would take care of it. He came out, we talked about it first and he gave the basic estimate, then he came back and did the measurement and then we signed the contract.

We received an estimate on replacement windows on April 13, 2010, and the sales representative was going to give us an estimate for doors. He measured and left. They have been contacted twice since then. Today is May 2, 2010, and no one has contacted us regarding a replacement door estimate. Althpough he was pleasant during his only contact, we found the whole episode unprofessional. How can we trust these people with follow-up or warranty!
