In ohter words, he will not allow the customer to make a mistake based on a lack of custmoer knowledge or exprtise related to his specialty. I also did not get the sense that he would manipulate a customer, to get a deal or to facilitate charging a higher price for his craft output. I was really impressed with his attention to detail and certainly the quality of the finished product and installation.
His challenge was to match the existing cabinets which are 23 years old and the original manufacturer is no longer in business.  The big box retailers have limited range to match existing cabinets and we did not want to do a full remodel.
We are very pleased with the final result and have recommended Paul to our family and friends.
His pricing is very fair considering the quality.  I would have to say that his cabinets are a better quality product that the original cabinets in our home.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
