"I have used Clean Line multiple times over the past 20 years and they have always been great. This most recent time though was exceptional. They came out and couldn't get trough the clog in the sewer. He called a competitor to come out and didn't charge me a dime for almost a full hour worth of work. FYI his competitor did get the job dome and was prompt and efficient. I will still call Clean Line 1st but if he can't do it I know I won't have to pay for a failure."

"Our sump pump failed and I told them it was old when I called. They made sure they had a new one on the truck. They scheduled the same day I called, were on time, installed in an hour, cleaned up, and the pricing was excellent. Because of their service my basement never flooded. Proper disposal helps prevent clogs and ensures the efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems while protecting the environment.

Knowing the signs can alert you to a clogged drain line. Clogs cause slow drainage or cause no drainage (if there’s a complete blockage). You may also notice foul odors, gurgling noises, water backing up in other appliances on the same line, or a poorly flushing toilet. If you experience any of these issues and think your line might be clogged, call a plumber.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

Some plumbers recommend 3/4 cup of bleach instead to clean any germs and bacteria that may build up in your sewer line. But this won’t break down any active clogs, and it cannot be combined with vinegar, as the mixture will create a toxic, hazardous gas.

Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell.
