We take pride in our work, the products we offer, and sticking to schedules. We are licensed in illinois to install roofs. We are also a certified contractor through iko shingles. We use all needed accesories to insure that we can offer a lifetime shingle gurantee. Award winning. We can also make dealing with storm damage as easy as picking out colors for your home.

He designed the job to best serve our needs, which included eliminating our old vents and installing a more efficient ridge vent system. He kept me informed as to timeline and, once on the job, the guys were efficient, took care to protect our property, and did a phenomenal job on the roofs. There was one small issue on a drip guard, and they came back and re-did it to make sure that we were 100% happy with the job - and we are. The roofs look fabulous and I would recommend DT to anyone (and already have)!"

Homeowners insurance does not usually cover roof soft spot repair. Since this damage is usually caused by wear and tear and often found on aging roofs, your insurance claim will likely be rejected. If a soft spot develops due to damage from a storm, repairs may be covered, but in general, expect to pay out of pocket for soft spot repairs.

You can walk on a TPO roof, but you should only do so when necessary and wear footwear that’s less likely to puncture the surface. If you anticipate needing to frequently walk on your TPO roof, reinforce walkways to protect against punctures. TPO roofing can also be slippery, so in most cases, you’ll want to leave walking on it to the pros.

You should plan on replacing architectural shingles every 20 to 25 years in most cases, although you could see up to around 30 years of useful life. Replacing your roof before it reaches the end of its life is a good idea because it reduces the risk of roof failure and roof leaks, which can contribute to extensive property damage and hefty repair costs. Your shingles’ life span can be shorter if you live in an area that sees a lot of extreme weather, so plan on getting a roof inspection done every few years to identify the best timeline for replacement.
