"Jimâ  s crew was diligent in preparing the home for paint; scraping old pain, caulking of windows and between boards, and repairing or sanding of rotted wood to get to solid wood. Jim did a great job in matching previous paint and the material utilized will last through many hot Summers and cold winters. The paint application with paint sprayers and brushes was executed very well. Jimâ  s got a great crew and worked to get the project completed on time. Jim was available through the entire project and weâ  re happy with the project. Iâ  m sure weâ  ll use Jim and Next Level again and please reach out if you need any help on making a decision on Jimâ  s team"

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I needed to have the cabinets adjusted to fit more modern appliances, and I also needed to have a storm door replaced. Tom did an excellent job on both occasions. He always communicated in a timely way, He worked well with me on the appliance delivery day to uninstall appliances, and he stayed late to install the appliances which entailed several adjustments. The appliance delivery was late by a month, and he still fit me into his schedule--a man of his word. He did good work and everything looks good and works well. I would certainly hire again."

"

My wife and I have used World Painting several times over the last four years in two different houses.  The most recent project was a complete makeover of the outside of our home.  We consulted with the World Painting staff on the design (two tones) and the proper colors to use.  We are very happy with the outcomes; both the appearance and the quality of workmanship.

"Excellent Work! I know why everyone gives them a top rating. William was great to work with, and the painting crew did a great job. I had a vaulted popcorn ceiling, I thought after 2 coats looked good, but they weren't satisfied and did a third coat! They paint your house as it theirs. I look forward to working with them again on a kitchen project. Look no further, and hire CU MIDWEST DESIGNS."

Home Building questions, answered by experts

While some highly experienced homeowners can frame a house independently, it is not advisable. You will need ample carpentry experience, a team of helpers, and professionals to sign off on your work to meet local building codes. For the safest outcome, we recommend buying or building a house with the guidance of professionals.

Yes, modular homes offer a wide range of customization options for layout, finishes, and features.

An A-frame home can be cheaper to build than a traditional house, but that is not always a given. Prices can be fairly similar in some cases, depending on the location, design, and necessary site preparation. Costs for an A-frame typically run between $100 to $200 per square foot, which is comparable to the cost of a traditional home. The cost of an A-frame can come in under those numbers if you opt for a prefabricated kit.

Building a house without blueprints is not advised. It will prevent you from obtaining necessary building permits and meeting building codes and is likely to result in shoddy construction and unsafe living conditions. Detailed blueprints ensure that a house is built to exact specifications and is constructed safely and structurally stable.

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
