"The crew was very courteous, they got the job done, I thought the materials were a little high. Overall, they did a great job. I wont know how good the work is until my utility bill comes in. Ameren did the Home Audit for me, and that's what prompted me to get the insulation project done. The project only took a couple days to complete. The price did include blown in for my Attic and Rolled Batting in the basement"
"Very established company with dedicated, respectful, courtesy employees. One of their products is blown-in insulation. We had them insulate our attic, foundation, and a crawl space under a room which gets cold during winter months. Our home is a large L-Shaped Ranch. It has made a difference in heating of our home. We had them take the old insulation out of the attic, which they vacuumed into bag and hauled away. Home Comfort also offers repair of driveways, where cracks have either sunken or raised the concrete. They repaired the few spots in my driveway, making it where someone won't trip on the crack and fall. I definitely recommend Home Comfort Insulation."
"Everything was fine until I got the final bill. The estimate they gave was different and the final bill was different. They had put extra charges. When I called them about it, they didn't back down. They also said that because of the extra insulation they used they did they couldn't reduce the cost. Other than that, the job was done fine. At one point, the insulation had blown in, they had a little problem, but that was worked out."
"I submitted for insulation quote on Friday and Neil called and came Saturday for estimate. They completed the work on that following Friday, one week later! Already notice a difference in the comfort levels in areas of the house. Before there were 5-8 degree differences in certain rooms, now those rooms are only 1-2 degrees cooler than rest of house. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."
