"We had our chimney tuck pointed and a roof put on the house. The old roof wasn’t torn down this it wasn’t in real bad shape and there was only one layer on. The work was all done in one day and everything was cleaned up when they left."

"Originally, we were introduced to Midtown when we were looking for quotes for replacing our raised brick patio with a deck. Which we eventually decided to keep our existing patio. Since then, we've worked with midtown for two projects now one for replacing our 26+ year old roof this past winter and a new custom door for to our patio. We've worked with Pete quoting last two projects. He is very transparent on Midtown's sales process and walked us through payment approaches to help us budget for the upcoming projects. In addition, he's been very informative about the quality of the products they offer. Which has helped us feel confident that we've been picking out the right quality material vs pushing us towards the premier top of the line best of the best material. Midtown was able to get us on their schedule extraordinarily fast due to some openings they had. They did quick work and cleaned up the aftermath well. We are looking forward to providing more feedback in the future"

"TCBâ s craftsmanship with trex decking is excellent and spot on. TCB does just your project in a timely fashion and does not move on until your product is completed. I would recommend them to friends and family. Our deck is beautiful!"

"They were really busy and I wondered when they were going to do the project. The bushes they planted were healthy and in bloom, and they were careful to avoid digging near underground cables. The supervisor was factual and answered all my questions."

"I had a small job and trouble finding professional help for my small job replacing the shingles on the roof of my wood garden shed -- 12x6 size. Once I removed the tools inside to prepare for their work, I realized I also needed the floor replaced. They completed both jobs within a few hours; they cleaned up afterwards, I am now prepared for keeping my lawnmower and other tools dry and ready for next season. They were a pleasure to work with. Their price was fair."

Small jobs welcome

"A scheduling miscommunication resulting in my having to wait an hour and a half for handyman's arrival. He fixed the non-working blinds quickly - within 10 minutes. I was told the charge would be around $118. The handyman said he could only reduce the price to $90. When I received the email invoice for $90, I asked for an additional reduction. They reduce the bill to $45, which seemed fair."

FAQs for gazebo service projects in Olympia Fields, IL

While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.

It might seem counterintuitive, but the best time to install a paver patio is during late fall to winter. The cold and wet weather of those seasons can help your patio installer perfect the foundation for your patio. Plus, you'll likely be able to find better sales and deals during the colder months when patio installation business is typically slower. Consult a local patio paver professional to determine the best time to install based on your area’s climate.

The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.

Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.

A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.

Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.

The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.

The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
