"Both of them Colton and Cody, were professional and courteous and told me what they were doing and why. They showed me how the filter looked before and after and I could not believe what came out of my ducts. My house smells better and I am sure my furnace will be more efficient, and I will spend less time dusting. They are polite and know what they are doing. If you have not had your ducts cleaned, or it has been along time, I would recommend calling them. The will give you an estimate and get you scheduled and show up when they say they say they will. I didn't realize they also do chimney work and several other things until chatting with them and although I don't have a fireplace, I recommended them to my neighbor who has never had their chimney cleaned. There are companies out there that tell you they are cleaning your ducts when they are just blowing around air but this is not one of them.
Thank you Colton and Cody for making the air in my house clean again.

Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If your AC runs constantly, it could be due to a number of things, including a faulty thermostat, incorrect temperature settings, or broken equipment. Alternatively, you might have an airflow problem (for example, blocked vents or leaky ductwork). Either way, an HVAC pro can identify the specific problem and fix it for you.

Ductwork will occasionally make noise as the metal experiences rapid temperature or air pressure changes. This is especially common when the furnace initially kicks on and pushes warm air into cold air ducts. However, this noise should not occur if the home is at a normal temperature most of the time. If you are hearing noises regularly, it may be a sign of a more serious problem.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that there's no conclusive evidence to show that dirty or dusty air ducts increase dust and airborne particles in your home or pose any risk to your health. On the other hand, your air ducts require cleaning if there's any mold or mildew, you have a rodent or insect infestation, or you have clogged ducts. Regular air duct cleaning will also extend the life of your HVAC system, leading to less frequent repairs and preventing premature replacement in the future.

Air duct cleaning scams are, unfortunately, so common because the industry is largely unregulated, and technicians don’t need to hold licenses in most states. It’s also easy for scammers to use scare tactics to claim that your indoor air is potentially unsafe, which makes the service an easy sell. Finally, most homeowners don’t have access to their hidden HVAC ducts and can’t check on issues themselves, so it’s easy to claim that there’s mold or debris build-up in there and have it go unchecked.

The number of return air vents a house should have depends on its overall square footage. You'll need one supply vent and one return vent for every 100 to 150 square feet of living space. This means that, ideally, there should be at least one return air vent in every room. However, if the room is 100 square feet or larger, it's better to have two or three. A 2,000-square-foot home should have between 13 and 20 return air vents, in total.
