"Both of them Colton and Cody, were professional and courteous and told me what they were doing and why. They showed me how the filter looked before and after and I could not believe what came out of my ducts. My house smells better and I am sure my furnace will be more efficient, and I will spend less time dusting. They are polite and know what they are doing. If you have not had your ducts cleaned, or it has been along time, I would recommend calling them. The will give you an estimate and get you scheduled and show up when they say they say they will. I didn't realize they also do chimney work and several other things until chatting with them and although I don't have a fireplace, I recommended them to my neighbor who has never had their chimney cleaned. There are companies out there that tell you they are cleaning your ducts when they are just blowing around air but this is not one of them.
Thank you Colton and Cody for making the air in my house clean again.

Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To avoid air duct cleaning scams, be cautious of offers that seem too good to be true, as they often lead to substandard services or unexpected charges. Always seek a second opinion if a contractor claims to find major issues like mold or asbestos. Hire a NADCA-certified professional to ensure you're working with a previously-vetted company or technician.

While homeowners can find DIY air duct cleaning tools, full duct cleaning is not recommended due to the complexity and specialized equipment required for the job. You can perform basic maintenance tasks like changing filters and vacuuming vents, but you can’t access all areas of the ductwork. It’s also not safe for homeowners to try to use high-powered vacuums and handle potential contaminants like mold and dust. Hiring a certified air duct cleaning service is the best option for a comprehensive and safe cleaning.

Yes, rust in ductwork is bad if it’s left untreated. Mild rust can be removed before it causes any significant damage. However, if you ignore rust, it can affect the structural integrity of the ductwork, and you’ll eventually need to replace it entirely. In addition, rust-causing moisture in ducts can also cause mold growth.

A mild skunk smell in your house can last up to three weeks, dissipating over time with proper ventilation. However, if you leave stronger smells untreated, they can last for months or years, becoming more difficult to remove the longer they sit. This is especially true of odors that have seeped into fabrics such as clothing or furniture or those in your pets’ fur.

Larger ducts aren't always better for CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute). While larger ducts can handle higher airflow, they must be balanced with the system's capacity. Oversized ducts can lead to air velocity reduction, causing poor airflow distribution and efficiency issues. Duct size should align with system requirements for optimal HVAC performance.
