"Provider was prompt, professional and friendly.  Arrived at the agreed upon time for a free estimate and performed work same-day after we agreed to the price.  He stuck to the price despite taking longer than expected and more work than usual due to worn-rusted pipes in my home.  Cleaned-up after himself and left no sign that work was done other than our new, working toilets.  We are very pleased and reccomend McDonagh & Sons Plumbing & Sewer Inc.

"In addition to correcting the shoddy work performed by Basement Flood Protector, since BFP refused to, Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing Solutions, Villa Park, IL, went far above their quote by installing drainboard, dealing with the ejection line and bubble pot -- not part of the job, as well as cutting and removing an old oil tank from another crawlspace and encapsulating the space.  Brian also offered advice on using a Ramset powder actuated nail driver in their concrete, they got me a spray foam kit at cost and dropped it off.  All of that for no extra charge possibly because they seemed to feel bad about my experience with their "competitor", and most of all, they made sure I was comfortable with their work.  I have already contacted them for some new work that is pending, and will do the same if anything else goes wrong with Basement Flood Protector's equipment or work.  I have no expectation that Basement Flood Protector would stand by anything else any more than they already did, and I could do without the abusive rudeness.  Save yourself the cash and hassle.  Call Brian at Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing Solutions first."

"Dimitri did a very good job on our hallway. He managed to paint a very tight corner without getting any grey paint on our newly installed white trim. He has a very steady hand with the brush. The grey paint did bleed through the tape onto the baseboard trim in a couple locations but he made certain to repaint the trim and not just leave it up to us to fix. That was very professional of him.

"Called Oscar 6-16-14.  Came out 6-17-14; accessed that the sewer pump had burned out; had brought a replacement with him.  He and his assistant replaced it within half an hour.  Charged $60 for service call and $30 for the half hour.  $410 for the pump.  Very genial and neat in their clean up.  Would recommend.

"Roger is a great guy and his crew did a wonderful job remediating our flooding issues by putting in drainage systems that divert water around our house for some very serious flooding issues. They also installed a sidewalk to divert water and a drainage system under the sidewalk. They worked very hard and they were very courteous and kind."

"It went fantastically well, It did not take him long to find the problem and then solve it. He came in and look under the sink. Went under the house found the pipe shook it and said here is the problem. Hr removed a section of the pipe and found the stoppage removed it , repaired pipe and sink workes like new. "I called on Friday to inquire about an estimate; Mike came Monday afternoon to give us a quote and repair the roof.  Given the number of competitors that don't even call back, I was impressed with their prompt response.  We knew we had some shingles that had blown off and we knew there was a leak around the vent for the furnace, but we trusted Mike to inspect the rest of the roof and make these and any additional necessary repairs.  He found several more problem areas than we were aware of and also identified a few ways in which our roof was installed improperly, which likely led to the shingles blowing off.  He seemed quite knowledgable and gave us an honest assessment of our roof (which wasn't great news).  He offered ballpark quotes on both cost and timeframe for repairing vs. replacing the roof so we could make a more informed decision.  In the end, we decided to repair for now and replace at some point in the future.
We will have Mike come back to give an official estimate when we are ready to replace the entire roof, but we will also get some estimates from competitors (which we didn't do for this repair; we just wanted it fixed quickly).  We felt like the cost of the repair might have been a bit high considering that the work was completed with only 2-3 hours of labor.
