"They came out within 24 hours and I appreciated their promptness. They didn't charge me anything to come out and their quote seemed very reasonable for what they were asking. What stood out to me more than anything else was that they weren't stuck on any one brand of furnace or A/C unit. They marketed a wide variety of different brands and they picked the one that was the best to fit my needs. They found the best furnace for the size, the best efficiency, and the best cost. They're not getting a commission by pushing a particular brand like a lot of the others are. I think they could've done a tiny bit better on their pricing, but other than that the experience with them turned out to be was real enjoyable."

"When my computer refused to boot up, I took it to Jim and he diagnosed a virus infection as the problem. He got the machine working again by installing a new hard drive and adding more memory for increased performance. Just a couple of weeks later, the computer again was having problems. This time, Jim dianosed the culprit as being the machine's original memory. While I decided not to remove and not replace the faulty memory for the time being due to cost, Jim upgraded my operating system to enhance the overall system performance. Jim was very professional and timely and was very sensitive to my concerns. Communication is excellent."

"He works very hard to keep our costs down and help us stay productive.  We call him all hours of the night and seven days a week and he's always there when we need him.  We rely on Kim for all of our maintenance needs when it comes to ac/boiler."

"Jody did a great job and was very professional.  My only complaint is the price seemed a bit excessive.  I did receive a discount using an internet coupon, so that did help some. Considering it was less than 1 hour of work and the cost of the part was probably less than $200, I would not expect labor costs to be so high.  Typically I will not use a company who I feel overcharges, but I really had little choice this time.  I understand it was after hours when the work was performed, but I requested service during normal hours.  Unfortunately they were backed up with service calls, so it was 8:30 PM before he was able to arrive.
I am grateful that I was able to get the pump replaced.  I just wished it was not so expensive.  I fully support our local businesses and that's why I use them.  However, sometimes they make it hard to come back for services.  If I had an option, I probably would have shopped around more before choosing a company.  This was a crisis, so no time to research and schedule an appointment.

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

On average, you’ll need about two gallons of oil per day to heat your house when it’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Most oil tank capacity is about 275 gallons, and heating your house with two gallons of oil per day will last about four and a half months. This consumption will vary depending on the climate and average temperature in your location. For example, if the winters are longer and colder where you live, you’ll probably need to refill your oil tank at least once to get through the winter.

The cost to install a steam boiler varies depending on the type, fuel used, and your house size. The average cost to install a boiler is $5,900. You could spend $2,000 for a basic electrical steam boiler or up to $9,000 for a high-efficiency oil-burning steam boiler. Boiler installation is a job that’s best left for professionals to complete, and, in some states, only licensed installers can legally complete the job.

Yes, most municipalities require a permit for propane boiler installation to ensure safety and code compliance. Permit fees vary by location and are often included in your installer’s quote, as they’ll handle the permitting process. Ensure that you always check local regulations before starting your project to avoid fines or delays.

Professional HVAC installation requires licensed expertise in several areas, including electrical- and plumbing-related work. An HVAC team must know how to safely handle regulated refrigerant chemicals and the gas, oil, or propane used in furnaces and boilers. A proper HVAC installation protects your home from energy loss, fires, and even carbon monoxide leaks.

Coolant and antifreeze are technically not the same thing. The difference between the two is the ratio of water to other chemicals. True antifreeze is mainly made up of either ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, while coolant comprises one part antifreeze and one part water. However, the terms coolant and antifreeze are often used interchangeably, even by pros.
