"Larry was extremely responsive!  We had a tight turn-around timeframe as we were listing our house on the market in a few days and needed the windows deep cleaned.  I called on a Friday and he squeezed us in the next day-Saturday!  Other companies stated they had several week waiting lists and We have lived at our house for 10 years and except for a few wipes with Windex, the windows had not been deep cleaned.  Larry and his assistant did an AMAZING job!  The windows look brand-new!  My husband was doubtful at first that it was worth the money- but he was astounded on how good they looked afterwards.  Thank you so much to Larry!  The realtor was thrilled with the results as were we.

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use glass cleaner on outside windows, but only after you’ve rinsed away as much debris as possible. Using glass cleaner on top of a layer of dirt will only make it harder to clean.

Yes, you can create a solution of dish soap and hot water to create a cleaning solution. You’ll want to mix about one to two drops of dish soap for every 8 ounces of hot water. If you use too much soap, it’ll create too many suds and make it harder to effectively wash away.

The simplest way to clean stained glass windows is by using warm distilled water and a damp cloth. Distilled water won’t corrode the stained glass or leave residue behind. Avoid using cleaners with alcohol or ammonia. However, you should only clean when necessary. Stained glass windows are fragile, and excessive cleaning could cause fading, weakening of the solder, or other damage.

Whether you’re a renter or a buyer, you should clean a house when moving out. For renters, it’s usually written in the lease that a house must be cleaned before it’s vacated. If you’re unsure how thoroughly to clean the place, check with the landlord beforehand; otherwise, you may not receive your deposit back. When selling a house, a contractual agreement is often made with the realtor that the house is swept and that all personal belongings are removed before the previous owners move out.

Yes, WD-40 can remove stickers from glass thanks to its chemical properties that can break down adhesives. Be sure to wear protective gloves when handling WD-40. Spray the window or glass item, and let it sit for 10 minutes before scraping it with a plastic scraper or credit card.
