I am a jack of trades independent contractor/ handyman with 10+ years experience. I am not a licensed plumber, licensed electrician, or licensed roofer. With that said it's easier to just tell you the things that I don't do. I do not do drain work, I do not replace electrical lines or panel boxes, I do not replace plumbing lines which includes water and gas, and I do not replace roofs. Aside from that I can do everything else, and have the tools to do so.

He finished 90% of it on time, the other part was because I couldn't make a descision on color for that area. He came after we moved in and knocked that out promptly. Any touch ups, fixes etc that were needed, he came and did with no issue. He even took the liberty of going out and purchasing all the new air vents, and other things we needed. He even came back and repainted the kitchen completely after we wanted to change the color. I would highly recomend his company, and will use him again. Stand up guy."

"John and the guys did a great job!  He came out for an estimate and a follow-up discussion.  He was very up-front with all the material costs and we went over the list line by line.  Once the work started, John was here everyday along with a couple of his crew.  My wife and I weren't home during the day, but after talking through the project with John and meeting the guys we felt very comfortable with them working while we were out.
They worked quickly and I stayed in touch with John via email during the day.  Most evenings I would get home in time to catch him before he left and we'd walk through the progress.  All in all, the communication was very, very good.  John kept me in the loop on everything that was going on.
There were no additional costs above the original quote -- even when he found out he forgot to include a few of the little things like doorknobs, hinges, and air vent covers.  He covered these.
After the job was over -- John still came back out to make sure the little details were properly taken care of.  For example, one of the air vents had a stripped screw that we found when I had the ducts cleaned a week later.  John came back out and swapped out the full vent.
There was a bit of dust in the house with all the demo and drywalling, but I don't know if that's really avoidable with a big job like this.
Without hesitation we'd have John back for more work!  In fact, we already had him back for some work in the living room."
