"Very well. My sidewalk had settled and was causing a trip hazard. The estimate was done via email due to my tight timeline. Sent them pictures and received a response the next day. Actual cost was $25 over the estimate due to site characteristics not apparent on my photos but still sounded reasonable to me. They leveled 5 sidewalk squares including my front porch stoop. Work was done in a little over an hour and looks great!"

Concrete steps need concrete footings, which is a type of foundation. They are made of concrete with rebar reinforcement poured into a trench. The footings support the stairs, spread the vertical load, and prevent the steps from sinking. A concrete pathway is very durable and can last upward of 30 years under normal conditions.
