"If you do anything in life, read this review it could save you thousands of dollars. Don't ever use this business for window installation. My family and I purchased over $160,000 worth of windows for our gut rehab in Chicago. Jason charged us over $50,000 to install our windows. He delayed the install job 3 days prior to our scheduled date stating "his team is out of the country". Mind you we had this installation date scheduled for weeks in advance. Install day comes and Jason shows up with 2 men to carry and install over 63 windows? Red flag?? After he installs the windows we noted the work was extremely poor - so bad you could see daylight through the side of the windows where caulking should be. Our windows were installed in November of 2023. June of 2024 we are still attempting to get a response from Jason to correct his extremely poor quality work. STAY AWAY"

Standard mirrors come in many different shapes, sizes, and thicknesses, so you can often find a great fit for your space without adding customizations. Custom mirrors are ideal if your space has very specific constraints. For instance, you may need a much longer or wider mirror than you can find in a standard mirror. There are a few reasons your mirrors might have smears on them after cleaning, but the two most likely are remaining cleaning product and minerals from hard water. If you used a commercial glass cleaner, consider spraying down the mirror with a 1-to-1 ratio of white vinegar and water after cleaning and then wiping it dry with a cotton cloth. If you suspect hard water is the issue, use a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol to spot-clean the streaks, and then let the mirror air-dry.

Size and weight are the primary considerations when purchasing a bathroom mirror. Properly measure the mirror size that will fit above your vanity. If your vanity sits in front of a drywall without a stud available, you won’t be able to hang anything that is too heavy. Also, check the material and design. For LED mirrors, look up their IP value. The higher the number, the more resistant it is against water and splash damage.

For small, non-pressure-related cracks, you can fix them using two-part epoxy. This spares you the cost and hassle of replacing the glass. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.
