"I never thought I would need to hire someone to remove wild animals from my property. For 35 years I've lived in harmony with the groundhogs and other animals that come into my yard. Then someone tunneled and came up under my back porch. Since this is where the dogs and we go in and out, something had to be done to prevent dogs from getting stuck under the porch and wildlife from appearing at the back door. I called Easton's. David E. understands wild animals. He has a deep respect for their intelligence and knowledge of their habits and their abilities to interact with humans. He set traps for the chipmunks who were going in and out of my crawl space. He set a trap at the small entry under my back deck. He caught chipmunks, a skunk, a possum and finally the huge groundhog that had been digging the tunnels. He then did work to ensure that animals could do no more tunneling under my shed (they had been living there since the shed arrived 25 years ago) and other areas around the house where animals could get in and cause damage were closed. Every time I called to report an animal caught in the trap, Mr. E. came quickly to retrieve it. I have every confidence they were treated humanely and did not suffer. An added bonus the fall/winter of 2017 and 2018/19 my house has also been rodent free! It's been great that the house is sealed up and mice are no longer visiting. Raccoons and opossums still set off my light sensors but they are now transient visitors--not living in tunnels under the house. If you need help with wildlife around your property, Mr. E. is the one to call. I highly recommend this business. You will learn all about the animal's lifestyle and habits as well as how best to keep them outside where we prefer them to be and your home will be protected from the damage they can cause."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

If you’ve had a prior bat infestation or simply want to avoid having bats invade your home in the first place, there are a few steps you can take without the need for a pro.

  • Seal entry points, such as where your chimney meets your house, or other gaps or holes exist.

  • Use bat deterrents like bright lights or ultrasonic devices to force them away from your home.

  • Reduce bat attractions like standing water and bird nectar feeders inviting bats into your yard.

Removal typically takes 1-3 days. Sealing entry points and cleanup may require additional time.
