"The job went better then I expected!!! I last had my air ducts cleaned some 20 plus years ago and I always have a dog or two living in my house, so it was time to have this done. I spoke to Jim (ADC, Inc.) over the phone and he thoroughly explained the cleaning process. After our conversation, he gave me a competitive estimate which included all of the ducts in my house. I was satisfied with the estimate and the conversation with Jim, so I decided to hire ADC, Inc. Several days before my scheduled appointment, Jim called and explained that he had a cancellation so he offered to send a team out a week earlier than scheduled, which worked out well for me. The two workers from ADC arrived on time, explained the process of the job and they got to work immediately. Drop cloths were laid to protect the wood floor from the equipment being moved in and out. The furnace is located in the basement of my two-story home so it took around three hours to clean 13 vents. Once the job was finished the vent grills/registers were reinstalled and the system was turned on. The air quality was improved by 100% and it was immediately noticeable. I am extremely happy with the service and work from ADC and I recommend the company without hesitation!

"ADMS contacted me almost immediately after I asked for quotes on angi.com. First, I got an email, then a text. I returned the call and set up an appointment for two days later. They arrived on time, were efficient and effective in cleaning my dryer duct – which included going to the building roof to check the exit vent, totally cleaned up the work area afterwards, and shortened and improved upon my dryer duct connection to prevent crushing of the venting to that was a bit too long. They kept me totally in the loop by telling me exactly what they were going to do and took pictures of before and after and sent them to my phone. Air duct maintenance solutions is a relatively new, family owned business and they take pride in their work and doing an excellent job. "First I will say I read several reviews both for this company and for one of their major competitors. Then I called both companies and discussed how they perform the work, and I got quotes from both. I needed my dryer vent line cleaned out and I wanted to make sure it was done using the best method possible. I didn't want the line to be a little better than it was. Let's face it, who wants to spend money cleaning a vent line, but if you need to do it, get it done correctly so that ALL the lint is gone, not just some of it! I spoke with Vito over the phone. He explained the process that Air Ducts Done Right uses. They use an extremely high power air compressor that stays in the truck. It has a rotating chimney brush attached to the end. (Here think of Dick Van **** in Mary Poppins) The brush was inserted from the outside of the house and feed through the vent line all the way to the dryer. You can hear it moving in the wall, so you know exactly where it is. The tool made all the turns in the line. They ran the brush through several times. You could see the chunks of lint flying out the exit. There was no way that tool was going to miss any clump of lint. I am happy with the choice of this company and the product they used on my dryer vent line. The other company said they would use a snake whipping tool to clean as much of the line as they could and then check CFM for airflow. They did not have a compressor, a chimney sweeping tool or a way to clean the turns. I wanted a full clean out, not a partial. A chimney sweeping tool is the way to go to get that line clean. I paid more than I would have if I went with the other company, but I am sure that line is as clean as it can be. The other company was $135. I paid Air Ducts Done Right $180.50 From the time Jake and his partner pulled up at my house to the time they drove away was 20 minutes. It was quick. I think the higher cost is associated with good quality tools. Thanks guys.

"We wanted a new heater because the house we bought had an old heater which did not distribute the heat evenly. The room above the floor where the heater sat was as hot as if it were summer, and a room which was the farthest away from the heater was so cold in the summer that nobody wanted to enter it. When we discussed this with the CRNES's maintenance crew, they explained what the issues were with the old heater. The old heater was not only not pushing out the heat evenly, it was placed in the wrong way and too big for the square footage of the house so that we were not getting heat for all the gas it was using. They did not push us to buy a new heater. They simply laid out the pros and cons of each new model. We decided to purchase a new heater because of the efficiency that the new heater would bring, plus we could control the temperature in each room much better. The crew who came to replace the heater was punctual, very professional. It took the first full day to take apart the old heater, take the parts out of the house, and then install the new heater. From there, it took another full day to adjust how the heat comes in to each room. If it wasn't for me needing to leave the house at the end of the second day, they would have stayed even longer to perfect it even further! In the end, we are now sitting in a warm house during the record cold winter day (-22 F).

"I was so impressed with WeatherGuard on so many levels, and I can honestly say that I am excited to write this review. I HIGHLY recommend them! My Story: Being that it is during COVID-19, this is NOT an ideal situation for your A/C to have a problem--the entire inside of my unit in my home was frozen solid (block of ice). After calling several companies, WeatherGuard was the only one who: 1. Was accepting a "new" customer 2. Was willing and able to schedule me before a week or more (They actually came the day I called!) 3. Did not seem put off or irritated that I called for help Right from the start, this was a pleasant experience. Jig (the CEO/main contact) seriously has *the best customer service* that I have ever experienced from a service company. Jig and his partner came and did diagnostics of my units and provided helpful guidance that kept the customer's best interest in mind. They did not "upsell" anything, and are matter of fact when it comes to the decision. We were hoping for just a fix, but with units over 30 years old and the possibility of the "fix" not being sustainable due to the size of the crack and Freon rating, it was best to replace the system and not waste money on a bandaid situation. Usually, my husband and I dread the process of buying larger purchases, but Jig made this an easy decision, kept within a reasonable budget, and provided accurate recommendations. Also, what you see and pay is the bottom line (unless a copper pipe is needing to be replaced). So even the ductwork is included in the price and service/labor. ***I want to note also that they keep safety and cleanliness in mind during this time as well. They wore masks, kept at a safe distance, and were mindful of their shoes in and out of the house. ***WeatherGuard uses the American Standard brand (and Aprilaire) Install: The day of the install was THE NEXT DAY! This company has magical powers to get everything you need in a timely (and quality) way. There were two main installers, Adam and his partner. They came on time and got to work right away. They were focused on the task the entire period of the job--which was a large one because our furnace, A/C, ductwork, etc. were getting replaced--about a 7-hour job. They were careful and cleaned up after the job was completed. Problem: Everything was going great...until the loud sound at 11:30 PM a few days later. My husband and I were a bit worried, but again, Jig is seriously amazing. When they say available 24 hours, they mean it. I sent video/pictures via email and Jig called me right away and guided me on possibly resetting the unit. The sound persisted and again, they came out first thing in the morning. It is never a good thing to hear, "I have never heard that sound before." However, extensive diagnostics and dedication went into discovering the solution--once the problem was found, it was corrected (at no charge). It is now running even BETTER than the first day we got it--we actually can feel the air through our vents! (Our old system barely kept the house warm/cool). Follow-up: This was quite the journey, but Jig continued to support us and checked-in (this was even before the problem). He makes sure to follow up with his clients and strives to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
