"I chose a contractor (DPG) for bathroom remodeling based on good referrals and assurance that the project would be completed on time and at satisfactory quality. Not even one month after we started using new bathrooms, the floor tiles started coming off and we found a couple of water leaks and other small issues that prevented us from using newly remodeled bathrooms. We called a number of contractors, got a couple of offers over the phone, though most of them didn't want to do anything with fixing the bad workmanship in the first place. Then we called Beautiful Tiles Pro (BTP) and this was the only contractor to come onsite, took the time to evaluate the issues and provided a detailed scope of rework and the quote. He started the project on time, with minimal interruption to our family and neighbors. His approach to work is well planned, methodical and the work is of the highest quality. At the end of each day, he would clean up the working area and let us know plans for the next day. Throughout the project, we were able to utilize all bedrooms and one of the bathrooms on the second floor, without having to do anything with the cleanup or moving materials or boxes. He would provide regular updates on his progress and would fixed a number of issues that the previous contractor left behind him. BTP pricing was reasonable and work was done professionally. "He was great! Quickly responded and set up a time to come see the job to provide an estimate. I appreciate this vs just saying oh around....had this happen a lot in ChicAgo and learned my lesson. He showed up on time and then we set a time for the repairs. I had my master bathroom and guest bathroom rehabbed (limestone shower cleaned and sealed and regrouted, hard water stains removed from the glass shower doors, marble tile floors and counters polished and sealed and also regrouted. The bathrooms look brand new!! I recently moved in and don’t think anyone had done any maintenance since it was built in 2006! "This is our third time having our French Limestone kitchen floor and granite countertops refinished but it is the first time we have used Natural Stone Restoration, Inc. to do the job. The quality of the work was outstanding and far exceeded that done by other companies. We also appreciated that Zuka elected to be on site supervising and that he was candid about the need to refinish varieties of floor tile we have in other rooms. Our home is on the National Historic Register and is also a Lake Forest Landmark. When we questioned Zuka about refinishing the original hand hewn slate tile in the foyer, he discouraged us from making the 1929 tiles look new saying the refinishing would detract from the original master craftsmanship and alter the patina of the floor. He obviously knows his craft and sacrificed a sale to preserve a legacy. I also like him. He is a consummate professional."
