"The Girl Dusters did an excellent job cleaning my house. They were prompt and very thorough. They use some pretty cool cleaning tools to cut down on dust and other products that continue to clean after the work is done. They were flexible with my schedule and were very efficient while cleaning. I have been through a few different cleaning services and this team is the best yet. I would highly recommend!"

"It went very well. I called on Saturday and talked with David, it was arranged they would come by on Monday and fix the step between 9-11, they were actually there a few minutes early and finished within 2 hours, including a trip to get materials needed."

"They team came in professionally and got right to work. The bathroms and the kitchen were well done. The windows and window sills were cleaned and also looked good. But their detail work was not good. They appeared to move more things around rather than actually clean them. And the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms were not well done at all. They did not sweep or mop the corners well and I had to go back myself and clean all the spots that had more build up. I will admit to being picky, but if I am paying someone to do a job that I can do myslef, I expect it to be quite well done."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Maintenance includes regular cleaning with appropriate products, periodic sealing to protect against staining and wear, and addressing minor issues before they escalate.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.

Yes, vinegar and water can strip wax. For a DIY wax stripper, mix about a quarter cup of vinegar with one gallon of warm water. You can also mix one cup of cream of tartar, one cup of white vinegar, and one gallon of water. Before using it on a large area of the floor, you should test it in an inconspicuous place to make sure it works like you want it to.

Like any other type of flooring, you will need to keep up with regular maintenance on your epoxy floors to keep them in the best shape possible; however, it is not like hardwood floors inside a house, which require special care and more consistent maintenance.

Just make sure you use the right cleaning tools and solutions. Avoid using harsh tools like scrub brushes or hard-bristled brooms. You should also skip cleaners that are highly acidic, including white vinegar.

Dust mops are the best option for tackling dirt and dust on marble floors. Vacuums aren’t a good idea as the brushes and beater rolls can scratch and damage your marble floors. If you must use a vacuum, make sure your vacuum has a setting for hard floors, and take care not to apply too much pressure when rolling the vacuum across your marble floor.
